Excuse me chef, but I ordered the insect lovers special...

This has no insects in it. It's just greens and flowers. The presentation is nice, but it's not what I ordered.

This years cross breeding results.

Unfortunately pollination wasn't the best. I think a lot of that was timing. Still though, happy I got some sweet corn to express with round kernels with pink. Got a few cobs with huge kernels too.

YAY TREATS!

She's really liking hosta flowers. Didn't have those back in Washington, but the new house in Michigan came with them.

Follow up on the Capeheart cabinet the wife brought home.

I took the back off to see if anything was easily serviced. Looks like to remove anything I need to unscrew from the top while supporting the components from below. So another project for another day.

Alex on our cross country drive last year.

Looking out the window in Montana, then hanging out in the badlands. I lost so many pictures and videos when Google did an update then locked my phone a few months ago.

Alex going to town on the green bean leaves.

Ate all three leaves on that part, then snatched the first green bean that grew lol. Rarely does she actually eat anything outside, not even raspberries. The last thing she went after like this was a California poppy flower. Freaked me out and I pulled it out of her mouth at the time, then learned they're ok to eat for her.

Doggy, Doggy Crockett king of the wild frontier.

He kept trying to eat the cats new toy, so I put it on his head and realized it looks like a raccoon skin hat lol

Niece insisted on getting her a princess bed.

I had to set it up and least take a picture for her. Might use it for photo shoots, but it's not staying in. Cute though :)

Huitlacoche on stalk?

Or is this something else? I'm hoping I got lucky.

Garter snake eating a toad. Trigger warning / maybe nsfw.

Watched this garter snake for an hour eating a toad. I thought for sure it would let go because the size difference is insane. But it eventually had its meal. I always knew snakes had this ability, but I think this was about the maximum. I took a lot of photos and videos. These are the few that are probably the least triggering.

Backyard visitor.

Not sure if it's digging, seems a bit late for eggs.

Wrens built a nest on a shelf in our garage.

Been watching and waiting for this day. Just hatched today :)

Not sure why it needs to be added again in the post, my original photos.
