"if found" card on a kids phone, in the local language?

My kid has a phone (10yo) which solves a lot but i still want her to be able to show a stranger "im lost, call my parents, hotel is X" in the local language without unlocking it. any apps that do this? everything i find is either GPS tracking or english-only plastic cards.

Thinking of building a shared "who-just-did-the-dishes" tracker for couples, real problem or just mine?

Me and my fiancée constantly text "did you take the trash out" or "when did we last wash the sheets" and it always turns into a thing. existing chore apps are forward-looking task lists and feel naggy. existing "days since" apps are single-user.

Idea: shared household where you both tap an item (dishes, sheets, etc) and it logs "you just did this" so the other person sees. no reminders, no streaks, no shame, just a log.

Would build this in a weekend if there's actual interest. useful, dumb, or already built well?

tl;dr: shared tap-to-log chore tracker for couples. thinking of building. real or just my problem?

How do you guys actually keep track of who did what around the house? 30M

tl;dr: how do you and your partner keep track of who did what around the house without it becoming a fight

Me and my fiancée have this thing where neither of us remembers when the sheets were last washed or who took the trash out last, so we end up texting "did you do x" like 4 times a week and it turns into a whole thing.

is everyone else just dealing with this or do you have an actual system that works? we tried a chore app once but it was too naggy, felt like one of us became the manager, which sucked.

curious what people actually do. shared note? whiteboard? just vibes?

Hey everyone,
I’ve got an Olympus XA2 that’s stuck in what seems like battery check mode. It keeps beeping constantly—even when switched off—and I can’t take any photos.
This started after a bit of moisture exposure, but I’ve already opened it up and didn’t see obvious corrosion. It almost feels like the camera thinks the battery check button is being pressed all the time.
Things I’ve tried:
Removing/reinserting batteries
Light cleaning inside
Checking for anything obviously stuck
Still no luck. Has anyone run into this before or know what might be causing it / how to fix it?
