I Don’t Wish To Watch Season 2

I Don’t Wish To Watch Season 2

I watched season 1 when it was initially released in 2022, and I absolutely loved it. I loved the chatacters, the storyline, the development, and even the romance.

By the time season 2 got released though, I felt as if the quality really.. declined. I couldn’t really see Tim Burton’s vision anymore. I only watched the first two episodes of season 2 and I simply couldn’t bear to watch any more.

Season 2 felt so influenced. It was as if the writers just ignored everything from season 1’s storyline and simply focused on what the fans are looking for. Every scene felt as if it were fan service and the creators simply want edits to be made of these scenes. What made season 1 iconic was that every scene had such beautiful gothic authenticity. Season 2 had none of that.

Another thing that bothers me a lot is the ship between Wednesday and Tyler. I obviously haven’t watched the second season but I’ve seen the scenes of all the terrible things he does to Wednesday and her family. I am afraid that the fans see this as “dark romance”, whereas it is simply abuse. Dark romance is the kind of romance that Gomez and Morticia have, which isn’t abuse.

I don’t think that I am looking for any ships for Wednesday, but if I had to pick, I would pick Enid for her. Since Enid truly understands what kind of a person Wednesday is, and also gets along with the rest of the Addams family, I think she would make the ideal love interest for Wednesday.

Big Bang Theory’s Biggest Mystery: Frank And Alicia

I find it very hilarious that Sheldon brought up these two friends a couple of times during the entire show, just to piss Leonard off. And we know these friends are for real because Sheldon never makes a joke without adding a “bazinga” afterwards.

In A World Full Of Green Yuri Readers, I’m Still Stuck On Pink Yuri

Source: Bad Thinking Diary

This manhwa was super popular in my friend group during 2021-2023. I wasn’t on Reddit during that time so I don’t really know if it was also popular on here, and so I’m bringing it up now.

This manhwa is SO fucking good, you guys will love it. Green Yuri is pretty softcore and cutesy, but pink yuri is the REAL shit. I’ve been obsessed with it for 5 years and so you all should also do the same.

May Nobody Ever Fall For This Bullshit 😹✌️

These posts are always such bullshit. I can’t even be bothered to read them completely because they’re always filled with pure nonsense advice made for imaginary situations.

There is no guide for being “interesting as fuck”, being interesting is so fucking subjective, you can learn all the talents in the world, tell all the perfect stories, or do the absolute best—yet you will still be perceived as boring by some people.

The true key to being interesting as fuck is to find the right crowd that is affirmative of your personality and allows you to grow without causing any unnecessary damage to your personality.

Live long and prosper shawties.

My Two Beautiful Women, Carmilla And Laura

I read the book Carmilla written by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu about a year ago, and I could still go on for hours about how beautiful both of these women’s love is.

Men Aren’t Actually That Bad

Before I get into this, I would like to state that I am a lesbian. I’ve never had feelings for a man, nor have I ever dated one as “experiment”. And although I’m quite masculine presenting and don’t really act feminine, I am sort of considered “good looking”, as in I’ve had multiple men hit on me and I have gotten proposed to, both in real life and online (sometimes even by men who knew I’m lesbian).

The reason why most women, especially lesbians hate men is because of the patriarchy. They hate the fact that men get treated better by society at large and have to face the consequences of being a woman. Even I am a huge hater of the patriarchy (as everyone should be), but I don’t really hate each and every man on the planet. If I meet a new guy, I treat him normally, just as I would treat any girl I meet.

This results in me having many guy friends, who are quite delightful to be around. And not just in a “they’re trying to hook up with me” way or “I have to act different, in order to fit in with them”, but genuinely good guy friends who I respect and care for. Perhaps it’s a bit different for me, as I’m a lesbian and I don’t have a problem with appreciating women for their physical looks. Like “Damn, she’s fucking hot”, or discussing our preferences in our type for women.

But even the men I don’t personally know happen to be very nice. Just the other day, I was trying to get my bike ( 🏍️ ) out of a parking space, but it was quite difficult as a lot of other bikes had parked around mine. I could’ve gotten my bike out on my own, but a couple of men came over and helped me out before I could do so. And I have multiple such examples of men acting kindly towards me.

This whole thing probably doesn’t make a lot of sense and seems kind of pointless, but it had been sitting in my head for so long, I decided to finally word it out and put it up on my Reddit.

I Think About SuperCorp At Least Once A day

This fanart, in particular, really speaks to me. I love the dynamic shown between both the women, possibly more than the one that was shown in Supergirl (TV Series).

Say Whatever You Want About Shamy, But They Were The Cutest Couple

People are always talking about how their power dynamics were messed up and how they were weird, or whatever. But as a couple, they were really adorable and I absolutely love them both.

Batman’s Eye Makeup

I wholeheartedly believe that showing Batman’s eye makeup even whilst he isn’t wearing his helmet, was the best decision Matt Reeves could’ve made. I only wish that other directors who will direct future Batman films will continue doing this.

My Fav: Conversion Therapy for Queer Kids.

These two films are my absolute favourite films about a queer kid who gets sent to conversion camp by their parents.

But I’m a Cheerleader : This is very wholesome and quite adorable, as the main character is a femme lesbian who doesn’t even realise she is a lesbian. 😭.

Boy Erased : This is a bit on the darker side, as the main character faces some troubles in coming to terms with himself as he’s had experience with sexual assault. But it is my absolute favourite because of how well made it is and because of its portrayal of a confused person who doesn’t really hate themself but also doesn’t know what to do with themself.

Like Minds (2006) is not gay.

All over letterboxd, I see people commenting about how Like Minds was supposed to be gay but the director was scared or that they wish it could’ve been gayer.

And honestly, I find that to be pure bullshit. The director’s intent was to make a psychological horror and had never even considered wanting to make his characters have a romantic relationship with each other.

It is also very harmful towards the queer community for Like Minds to be labeled as a queer bait film as it had so many toxic elements between Alex and Nigel that would make literally zero sense.

What are your thoughts on it?

Kaley Cuoco and Melissa Raunch voicing Harley Quinn.

FUN FACT: Both Melissa Raunch and Kaley Cuoco have voiced the DC character: Harley Quinn.

The first one being Melissa Raunch’s portrayal in the 2017 film, Batman and Harley Quinn.

The second one being Kaley Cuoco’s portrayal in the 2019 series, Harley Quinn TV.
