That is some thin copper wire

I didn't notice the middle pickup not working when I first got this used G&L Tribute Legacy, but I also have no idea what would have caused it to just let go. If there hadn't been another hole next to the original it wouldn't have reached. How are they held into the base of the pickup? I tried adding solder from the bottom, I tried adding a dab of 2 part epoxy. I'm being very careful not to make it any shorter, but the pin where the two wires are joined won't stay in place and I'm not sure what is/isn't kosher. I have liquid electrical tape but after that I need to buy something

Tablet plan?

Has anyone used this? I've never quite understood the ins and outs of creating a hotspot, but on Fi it was extremely limited to I thing 10GB on unlimited plans. Maybe I'm just bad at seeing the angle, why is it so precious? And why would I want 3GB of data for my tablet? And why only 3GB? the same $60 would add 11GB on my phone and I could mirror my phone on anything, including a tablet.

Do I just think too much?

Tribute and Fullerton Legacy

I knew right after getting the Tribute that I'd be getting a Fullerton. She's well used and I'm wondering if new saddles are available. Somehow it's got two different saddles complete with different hex screws. I polished the frets but they need a crown. I'm looking at the Fret Guru, but if anyone has opinions on lesser or greater suggestions (Music Nomad? Stewie Mac?) and what size (serial # is on the neck plate, not sure what year)

Best reasoning model to run on Strix Halo 128GB?

I see benchmarks comparing tokes per second or time to first token, which I guess is easier to quantify, but doesn't interest me. I'm interested in finding the best reasoning model that can be run locally, if it is ablated, even better.

NGD

As soon as I strapped on my Tribute Legacy I knew I would step up. I'm 0 for 2 on trem arms, not sure how much I care. It's a little rough around the edges, it price was too good to pass up. I spent the first night polishing frets, they were rough and now I know they need a crowning. I'll have to pull the tools together for fretwork, but I don't mind a good project. I'll reserve my judgement for when it's as good as I can get it.

I saw that GC was looking to get 900 for Tributes, I hope none of you guys will be so foolish to encourage that kind of behavior. The USAs they had were normal pricing, but not for long if someone pays more than MSRP for a branded Cort.

Love that PTB, considering a 10 way switch, the wiring was some janky looking work, haven't pulled the pick guard, but one wire broke off the output jack just by looking at it. I heard it said that modified Fender amps primarily involved the little details that aren't the focus of production runs, such as cleaning flux from the joints and sealing the boards. I haven't gotten into amp work, but that idea checks out. High quality audio is often about the little things that don't seem like much on their own, but enough of them start to weigh you down. This was way worse. I put on headphones but couldn't move or I'd get static so loud I nearly jumped out of my skin.

Does anyone have a good source for switches, jacks, cable making materials?

Anyone know a good way to deal with this?

I might want to get steelies for snow tires, so I'd rather not replace these too. These could be the Winter wheels.

This one-man brake bleed is not what I expected to see inside

How does this one work? Whenever I've made one the line went to the bottom of the bottle and had to remain under the fluid. This is just how it came don't have instructions and I'm one-man, looking to bleed my brakes.
