NFL 2K5 + Dolphins football. Good to be back

Elite combo this Friday night. As much as I hate this team I have missed watching the Dolphins. Nice to feel fresh going into the new season for a change, not had it in a few years now. We are going 3-14 but still, good to be back.

Not played this bad boy in a long while

Yeah I guess this is technically a 'simulation' but idk it feels more fitting with the arcade flair. More of a Simcade. I originally played this game after my dad gave me his PS2, not played it in a long while. Was playing some Ride 3 and it reminded me of this game, how I wish they'd make a second one. I know Kaz has flirted with the idea before, would love for it to happen. Growing up I was more of a car guy, and I still am. But I've become disillusioned with the future of the car, I don't get excited by new cars anymore, for quite obvious reasons. Anyway, Tourist Trophy. What a game. Have any of you played this gem?

MGP24 - Always raining

It's the middle of summer, and I've had at least 1 race, be it the Sprint or the Grand Prix, be raining for the past 4 races. Assen, Germany, Silverstone and now Austria. So sick of the constant rain. And in 3 of those weekends, there was more than 1 wet session. Anyone else had this on 24, and has it been fixed in the following 2 games? So frustrating

Which game has the best AI?

I'm on MotoGP 24, and it's a fantastic game. I love it...when I'm nowhere near any of the AI. I'm so sick of being divebombed when I'm on a quali lap, and me getting the LLP for it. And the AI are stupidly slow on straights too which makes overtakes feel cheap at times. What game has the best AI?

Help with stamina improvement

To preface, my 5K PB is a 33:55, but there is a bit of free time for easy improvement, but nothing substantial. My 'Zone 3' pace is 6:30/km, my 'Zone 2' is 7:15/km. I did my first intervals session today, I did -

1km warm up at 7:17/km

5x 400m at 5:05-5:10/km, 90s walk between reps

1.2km cool down at 7:15/km

It felt great, not difficult at all. The pace is definitely there for my goal of a sub 30 5K. But this has led me to the realisation that I may indeed have the worst stamina of any human ever recorded in human history. This theory of mine is also backed up by my 10K PB being a 1:12:42. So I clearly can't sustain pace. I can comfortably run at 5:05 in my interval run, but my 5K PB is 6:47/km, when I need it at 5:59/km for sub-30. So I feel there is a clear problem of poor stamina. What kind of run should I target to fix this? Should I do more longer runs at a slower pace so my body can get used to maintaining a pace for longer, or should I do shorter runs at a faster pace so my body can get used to travelling quicker at a sustained pace? Or is it really as simple as a mix of both? I feel the pace is easily there for my goal, and my main focus should be improving my stamina, but I simply don't yet know the best way of improving it. Thank you 🙏

The difference 53 days can make.

Run 1 was on April 19th, Run 2 is from this morning (June 11th). Crazy how much can change in your first 2 months

Ran my first ever Non-Stop 5K this morning

I have been running for coming on 11 weeks now, and my main issue was always my pacing. I'd fly at the start of a 5K and ruin myself. This morning, I was able to manage my pace to be able to run a 5K without the need to start walking. From around 2.5km to about 4km, I eased the pace a bit in order to give myself some power at the end of the run, which worked a treat, as I PB'd by 9 seconds. I have never, ever been good at pacing or energy management. Being able to manage my fatigue and energy during the run to use it to PB felt so rewarding. Most I'd run consecutively (at least from what I've recorded) was 3K, so to up it to 5K feels like a big milestone for me

Red Loading Ring after a specific race?

So about a year ago I was playing through GT4 again, and I got to the Japanese 80s Sports Car Race 1 at El Capitan. And I got the red loading screen after it, I couldn't do anything about it. Bought a new copy, didnt have it since.

I started a new save, and I've gotten to the exact same race. Japanese 80s Sports Car, Race 1, at El Capitan. I heard the music drop and my heart dropped with it. And as I thought, red ring. Is it pure coincidence that both discs have failed on the exact same race? Not had any issues up until that point, very bizarre

What game(s) are you guys currently playing?

I personally have career modes on the go in F1 2019 (currently with Alfa Romeo), F1 2017 (currently with Renault), and F1 2012 (currently with Marussia). I find it really fun to have multiple on the go at different times, plus I was notoriously bad for making new career mode saves all the time, so this helps.

What games are you guys on currently, and how many seasons in?
