Looking at the ‘26 framesets and I’d like to see a full build, if you’d so kindly oblige! 😉
Considering either a top tier alloy frameset, or reasonable carbon. Budget: ~$2,000. Looked at Allez Sprint, but don’t like their current colors all that much. Considering a Scott Addict 10.. Would that be quicker, or too endurancey? Any logical suggestions are welcome.
I do a couple of centuries per year, but ride mostly in the 10-30 mile range, so I’m looking for something faster, with more aggressive geometry. Thank you!
Neil Peart chronicles his 18-day cycling journey through northeastern China in 1985. What started as a dream pinned to his "happy mirror" became reality when he embarked on a solo adventure, navigating the bustling streets of Shanghai, cycling through remote towns, and immersing himself in the culture.
With vivid detail, Neil shares his first impressions of Shanghai-crowds of cyclists, chaotic traffic, and centuries-old traditions blending with modernity. He captures the quirks of travel in China, from the omnipresent bicycle bells to unexpected cultural surprises. Battling jet lag, a lost bag, and an early cold, he embraces every twist in the road, connecting with fellow travelers and experiencing China in the most immersive way possible-on two wheels.
Hello, I would like a custom face mask (sims 4 alpha cc, celeb), and was wondering if someone with mad skills would like to do it on commission? :) If so, leave a comment and I’ll PM you. Thanks!
I don’t have any friends who ride at all, so here goes:
I own a 2025 Rockhopper, bone stock.
Just purchased a bunch of upgrades (XT drivetrain, Deity cockpit, Rockshox fork) and now I’m thinking.. Should I be doing this, instead, to something more modern, with full suspension?
I’m new to MTB, but also an ex motocross guy and current road rider. Pretty sure I’m going to enjoy jumps, drops, varied terrain and all of the things just as much as trail riding. A pumped out hard tail was the initial plan, but I can’t help but think, there might be something out there, more fitting to my game.
So. Should I bite the bullet and buy a better frameset? If yes, any suggestions on that front? Been looking at Stumpjumpers, but I’m open to more niche options. My frameset budget is around $1,500. Not opposed to buying new old stock or a nice used example. Any and all advice is welcome!
Someone in here has to have done it.. I’d like to upgrade my base model Rockhopper from the Altus 9 speed to 11 or 12 speed.
Will the stock rear hub (Formula SP-2125, I believe) fit an 11 or 12 speed Shimano cassette? If not, what do I need hub-wise? The higher end Rockhoppers are 12 speed Deore, so I know it can be done, but I’ve been going in circles for days trying to solve the puzzle.
I’d like to go with the Deore XT M8000 or M8100 groupset, any and all help would be great!
I stood up to put some power down and the bars literally just came off in my hands. Just bought this bike, and I’m pretty sure this is not the stock stem. Pretty chilling, I’ve never seen bicycle components made of sand before. Glad it wasn’t on a drop or a downhill.
Quick intro: I have been in love with Kate and her music for several years now, and I often consider writing her to express my admiration, and possibly ask for an autograph (putting that on my wall, especially if it were addressed to me, would be amazing. I’m 36, and autographs still mean a good deal to me)! However, I don’t know if I want to bother her with a letter, let alone an autograph request. I feel that in this day and age, with so many getting autographs just to turn around and sell them, asking for one feels kind of scummy, if not a little passé.
Anyways, I’m considering purchasing an autographed print with a COA as an alternative, so my question is: to those of you who have purchased them, are they worth the sum that people ask? If you had one signed by her, would you buy it if you had no other option? Or do you suggest I just work up the nerve and write her?
Picked this ‘25 base model (the “upsale” version) up for a really good deal, stoked to go rip some dirt! Any upgrades (other than the obvious saddle, pedals, etc.) that you would recommend?
