I've been eyeing a G42 for a while, both the pre-facelift and post facelift).

But one thing I'm very interested to know is how annoying the safety systems are. Especially the speed limit warning.

So I have essentially two questions:

Is it possible to permanently disable this "feature"?

Ive heard that if you link your profile with BMW-ID or something, it is possible to permanently disable it.

How do you disable the feature?

I think it's something holding the set button on the steeringwheel disables it, is it true that it's this simple to disable?

Would love to know your exeperiences with it, and what model year you have so I know if both pre and post facelift is bearable.

Obviously not advocating speeding, but yeah sometimes I go a singular digit over the speedlimit for a split second and my brain cannot handle the bongs. Or it misunderstanding a sign and bongs at you until it gets the next one.

For me, there are two very simple things that would make CarPlay near perfect, and they seem so simple to implement.

• Default view on startup/first connect

I want to be able to set what view is shown on carplay when my phone first connects, right now it's so random depending on what app I have used before on my phone or previously in CarPlay. Make me able to set an app and a specific view inside that app to always go to when it connects to CarPlay. For example I would want it to auto open Spotify (Which it normally does) but it shows page inside the app that is completely useless to me, I want it to always go to the "Now playing" view.

• Media player inside other apps

AndroidAuto have this since many years back, when you are inside GoogleMaps for example, there is a mini mediaplayer at the bottom that shows the current music playing.
