I know sirens, decals, lights are huge no-nos but could you keep the PA system with the microphone?
Literally no other reason to keep this besides the novelty and ability to yell at my friends from the car but what’s the legality on these?
I assume as long as you aren’t impersonating an officer, using it to direct traffic or yell at motorists it’s legal?
I have used marketplace ever since Craigslist started charging to post so about a decade ago at this point. Maybe I’m misremembering but I swear prior to like 2021 or 2022, the search function actually worked.
Fast forward to 2026 and it’s literally just random if it works or not. For example, today I wanted to look at Ford Crown Victorias within 40 miles of my city for sale.
First time I searched “Ford Crown Victoria” and got 2 listings in my area before immediately getting a listing for 100+ miles away and then random listings for Hondas, Chevys, Harley Davidsons even, etc.
Second time I searched “Crown Victoria” No listings in your area. How tf does that make sense?
Third search was “Crown Vic” and I got one of the cars from the first search and the rest were random vehicles way further than 40 miles.
It has to be malicious right? Like somebody in Meta HQ purposely does not want the search function to actually work because it’s ridiculous. I KNOW there are more than 2 crown Victorias for sale in my area lmao. It’s actually infuriating to me.
I’d like to hear from the community what y’all think some of the weirdest/creepiest areas of our state are?
I’ve always found McDowell county kinda unsettling. I think it’s just general sadness seeing what the county is like now but also the whole area is so remote and isolated even compared to other places in WV. Walking the empty streets of Welch had me constantly looking over my shoulder tbh.

So I (24M) was at my local hardware store and got help from this cute cashier. We talked about cinco de mayo and tacos then somehow got onto Star Wars and lord of the rings which I told her I had never seen. In this moment I kept telling myself “hmm maybe I should say something” but I just kept it super surface level. After she rang me up I made another comment like “happy cinco de mayo” and went out to my truck.
Immediately I’m like “you’re an idiot, go in there and ask if she’d like to go out sometime” so I went back in but couldn’t find her. I shopped around for another 10 minutes and wound up buying some stuff I didn’t even need just so I didn’t leave empty handed and look weird to the employees (small town, local hardware store)
Now after I’m back home and thinking about all of this more, I’m angry at myself for not asking her for her number. Not because I think she’d say yes, just because I chickened out like I always do when faced with decisions that have the potential to get awkward.
My stupid brain always waits for the “perfect moment” but life never has “perfect moments” so I’m always “stuck out in the rain” and full of regret

My 2007 Mustang’s rear vinyl stripe is cracking and tearing. Is there anything I can do to touch it up/repair it? I have 0 body/paint experience so taking the whole thing off and replacing it would be something I’d need a professional to do I think.
