There was love here. There were memories, laughter, and many good times. Nikki made this place a home, and it truly was one—a place that was loved, safe, and warm.
But there is also darkness attached to this house. Something deeply sinister took place here. Secrets, lies, and a tragedy that changed so many lives forever.
I believe this is where Nikki took her last breath. This is where her life was taken from her. This is the house where she was killed.
Selling this home will not erase what happened within its walls. The memories remain, and so does the pain left behind.
If you are considering purchasing this property, please know that the proceeds from its sale may help fund the legal defense of the man accused of taking Nikki’s life.
Nearly two years later, we are still seeking justice for Nikki and searching for answers. No sale can change that.
Nikki deserved better. She deserved to come home. She deserved to grow old with her children and family. We will continue to remember her, love her, and fight for justice in her name. ❤️

Alert to any local animal rescue organizations in Shasta County and surrounding areas that might have dealt with Miranda’s Rescue in the past 25 years.
In Fortuna, California, has led investigators to estimate that over 730 dogs and other animals transferred to Miranda's Rescue are currently unaccounted for. The facility is the subject of an active, multi-agency investigation by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The investigation has revealed that 900 animals were documented, with 730 remaining unaccounted for. Since 2025, the sanctuary has received over 900 dogs from various California shelters in Northern California including possibly local agencies in Shasta County and surrounding areas.
However, this number does not account for individual rescues or rescue groups or owner surrenders, indicating a potentially much higher total, maybe into the thousands from the organization's 25-year history

In evaluating candidates, please perform thorough research, especially for the Shasta County Board of Education, and scrutinize their political connections. I will not support a candidate who engages in demagoguery in my opinion, and bases their platform on disinformation.

Is anyone else a little shocked at the beef prices lately around Redding?
For the first time in modern history, a single pound of ground beef now costs MORE than what millions of Americans earn in one hour at the federal minimum wage, and the prices are projected to be even higher next year in 2027 at $29.63 or higher per pound, representing a 13.7% increase, the USDA reported from tighter than expected cattle supplies and a stronger cash market data.
Shasta County is again in the national news. Voting against mail in ballots while voting by mail in ballots. Something is not right here. "The overwhelming majority of voters who approved it, 88%, themselves voted by mail. " - The Guardian

Amazon flex divers in Redding and Shasta and surrounding counties.
PSA, and please share:
Now that the Redding Amazon delivery center is open. They will start deliveries with flex drivers. Please be aware that drivers deliver packages as early as 3:00 a.m. using their personal, unmarked vehicles.
Because these independent contractors do not drive standard blue Amazon vans, property owners frequently mistake them for trespassers or burglars, leading to an alarming number of close encounters, brandished weapons, and active shooting incidents.
● Especially some homeowners awake at 3:30 a.m. see an unfamiliar vehicle idling in their driveway with headlights on, or see an individual walking toward their porch with a flashlight.
● If it makes you uncomfortable for someone to drop by that early when placing orders, actively look at your delivery window on Amazon. If you do not want delivery personnel on your property before sunrise, do not choose overnight (4:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.) delivery blocks.
● If you see an unknown car pull into your driveway in the early morning hours, check your phone for Amazon delivery notifications, look for a high-visibility vest, or check your porch for a package before assuming it's a trespassing or burglary.
● Keep exterior lighting active overnight if you expect a package. A well-lit path allows drivers to safely document the drop-off and helps your security cameras verify their Amazon safety vest.
● Ensure your pets are secured inside the home during overnight hours. Early morning drivers cannot see loose dogs in pitch-black yards, which leads to sudden defensive reactions or aborted deliveries.
I do not work for Amazon. I have a friend who's a flex driver and makes deliveries in rural areas, and I just wanted to share some information with a new service people might not be familiar with. This is more about the safety of the drivers.

instagram.comWhy is raba intentionally restricting access to healthcare for poor seniors and disabled? Especially those relying heavily for transportation from Trinity and Burney to Redding? John Andoh Raba Manger refused the mandatory system that tracks statistics thecity uses already that canceled it

The Breakdown of the Dispute PSA 2 Grant:
The Planning and Service Area 2 (PSA 2) Area Agency on Aging awarded a one-year grant to fund free RABA bus rides for residents aged 60 and older.
WellSky Requirement: PSA 2 required RABA to use a specific third-party data analysis software platform called WellSky to track and report senior ridership data.
The "Wanting" / Conflict: PSA 2 wanted RABA to sign a strict three-party agreement with WellSky. RABA's Transit Manager John Andoh, refused stating it was an unexpected requirement that did not allow RABA to negotiate reasonable terms despite the city already using it as a mandatory requirement for any grant money related to homless and seniors.
Additionally, RABA "alleged" that PSA 2 failed to properly submit the data through the tool and rejected RABA's alternative reports due to an inability to interpret the data.
The Result: Because of this standstill, PSA 2 withdrew the grant funding.
Also, some riders have reported buying the full 30-day bus pass that is even at a discounted rate for some, only honors 25- 26 days of use because the busses do not run on Sundays.
