Not exactly sure if this is the best place to ask... I started a new job as a junior developer and I find myself struggling to keep up with the pace a rigor needed to excel and learn while doing a good and competent job on my own.

I have been admitted into a job that has tasks that feel a lot harder than anything the introduction interviews for the job ever had going on, and my independent learning along with college learning leaves me thinking I am not actually up to a coding level I should be.
I am having to dig through a fairly large repository and add to it under very specific criteria such as explicitly never using LINQ commands and other specific rules. This is a project brought into existence due to a previous team actually failing to properly provide a working product after a year of work, however we are still under the same contract so we are all working at double speed, essentially from scratch, to deliver a product who should be at least halfway or more through its life span already. I will have to remain vague on what exactly is being worked on unfortunately.

My program lead knows I am new, he understands that I will be learning a lot on the job but for how fast paced this job has turned out to be, and how explicitly they say I cannot go over 40 hours a week in time, I just find myself struggling. This is a part I am especially not happy about, and I have read the rules and will explicitly say I do not support AI and using it is absolutely going to make you a worse programmer and you will never learn anything if you use it.... but just to keep up and get deliverable content out I find myself having to rely on it at times and I just so deeply do not want to do that at all. I WANT to be the coder, not some slop machine. Being in this position has made me feel like a worse programmer and discouraged, honestly I feel like a sham. Im just not sure how to learn and thrive in such a fast paced environment as someone who is so new to the field and with little experience. They clearly saw something in me during the interview.
The TL;DR of this all is, does anyone have advice on learning in such a fast paced environment? I have ran through codecademy courses for C# and i can confidently do them, but like the moment I get into this database and start attempting tasks I just get so overwhelmed and confused. The current branch I am working on has almost 500 cs files all interconnected and I just dont feel like anything before me prepared me for content like this.

Can i get a Rat ID on my lil baby boy bandit

I have posted him before when he was a lot smaller and the response was kinda mixed. He is full grown now and has his permanent coat. His fur seems to be layered. His under coat is black, while his outer coat is tan. He has a primarilly white belly but there are areas there that look darker as his under coat is black there. He is absurdly soft, like way softer than any of my other guys.

He also loves running on a giant cat wheel i bought the group, but thats beside the point.🙂

Which version of rescue team should i revisit?

Hello, i just beat EoS for the first time since it released. Had an absolute blast with my pikachu starter and skitty partner. The game really only just begun now since i have tackle this massive end game. Down the road though, i would like to play the first game again.

As someone who has only played red rescue team as a kid, and DX when it released... what version is preferred by the community? DX has some radical changes for balance and content, and i honestly cant choose between red or blue version (i prefer gba sound font but the dual screen feature of blue is great)

What is your prefered way of playing this game?

On a side note, also suggest team comps! Last time i played rescue team, i had meowth starter and psyduck partner, and i absolutely loved that playthrough. I have never used a totodile before and am kinda leaning to that chompy fella...

Questions for neutering procedure, i think i was advised incorrectly ablut fasting

This little stinker has been a bully and has shown hormonal aggression. He is about 6 months old and the exotic vet reccomended getting the surgery. The receptionist, when scheduling for the process, told me to stop feeding him at 10pm the night before.

There would be a 9 hour stretch of no food or water if i were to do this, which seems harsh for little bodies with such high metabolism. When i tried googling it, it said this is actually bad and not reccomended for them (but google is rife with AI, so i took this with a grain of salt)

Im coming here to ask you people who likely have had to deal with this before for extra feisty little guys....what did you do with food/water situation? Is fasting for rats even a thing? I remember having to get a tumor removed from my first set of rats and was never told about fasting.

Not sure if i can ask this here, but has anyone here had these before and does anyone know how they make them taste SO good?

I had this for the first time the other day and it blew my mind just how goddamn good these are? I have been eating this with white rice and lao gan ma chili crisp oil for the past 3 days and i cannot get enough of it.

Im not even vegan, but i stocked up on this and have been looking at the ingredients list and cant quite figure out whats giving it such a great meaty grilled flavor.

I honestly might switch sides from eating meat for this (especially if i can recreate it myself at home). Again, im absolutely blown away by how good these are, so thats why im coming to this community to see if anyone has been able to make anything similar at home?

I am having the roughest time deciding my team for Explorers of sky.....

Hello, I have not played this game in well over 15 years, really only playing it at launch year.

I am deciding to replay it and I am more than likely massively over analyzing team comps for starter/partner pokemons. I think I am leaning on having vulpix in the team since her IQ group is great and access to imprison is great utility. However I noticed I can have a partner meowth (why cant i play as him? 😔). He was my favorite team to play as in pokemon red rescue team along with my partner psyduck, mostly because I LOVED pick up as an ability, and he was also a fury swipes monster.

Meowth, however, also is in that same IQ group as vulpix and I think there may be too much overlap there to make a more balanced team. I also threw around an eevee and vulpix team in my head, eventually getting glaceon for a cool ice and fire fox team theme....but thats gona be so end game that i dont even really think its worth considering. I am really at such a loss and overwhelmed by my options! I would like to hear what you guys who have been dedicated to the series might have to say

Shit is just lame. Its actually just embarrassing. It has to be some obsessive disorder for you to look at a ps5 and think, "hmm but what if girl?....."
This is overwhelmingly most common in tech related shit, but stuff like the invention of a new goddamn mouse (wooly mice) was not spared from this shit.
