ADHDers and autistics, what has been your longest not burnt out?

I'm losing a bit of hope. I am an AuDHDer in his late 20s, severely burnt out, and I'm just a little bit concerned if burning out is gonna be my life.

Got diagnosed last year, and I realise my Dad is probably AuDHD too. He's in his 60s and realised from the time I was born, he has always been in burn out. This fucking scares me.

Those in their 30s & beyond, is it possible to not be burnt out? What is the longest period of you not being burnt out?

Arriving in the South Island in February 2027 — How hard is it to get vineyard work?

Hey everyone!

I’m planning to arrive in the South Island in February 2027 on a Working Holiday Visa, and one of my main goals is to get seasonal work at a vineyard/winery while travelling around New Zealand.

A friend told me that February might be a difficult time to arrive if I’m specifically looking for vineyard work, and that jobs can be quite competitive around that period. I’m a bit worried about burning through my savings while waiting for work.

For those who have done seasonal/vineyard work in the South Island:

  • Is February actually a bad time to arrive for finding vineyard work?
  • How competitive is it to get hired around February/March?
  • Which areas would give me the best chance — Marlborough, Central Otago, Canterbury, etc.?
  • How long should I realistically expect to wait before finding a job?
  • Is it realistic to arrive with some savings and find work relatively quickly, or should I budget for potentially being unemployed for 1–2 months?

ADHDers, how do you rest when you have a restless mind

People with ADHD, I find that it's so hard for me to rest.

My body is tired but my mind doesn’t want to rest because it’s so restless. So it wants to play video games or watch a TV show, even when my body is begging for rest.

How do y'all deal with this?

I completed all 243 Riddler Trophies without the help of any tutorial

This week, I completed all 243 Riddler Trophies without the help of any tutorial. It took me a total of 5-6 days. I’m literally HIM.

These were the top 3 hardest Riddler trophies for me:

3. “He Saved the Date! All Hallows’ Eve! But This
Calendar Killer Took His Leave.” (3–4 hours)

2. “Mind Your Head” trophy. (4–5 hours)

1. The Final Riddler Bomb Rioter (6–7 hours)
It took me hours trying to find the electricity to run through my Remote-Controlled Batarang, only to solve the riddle by getting into my Batmobile and unintentionally zapping the bomb hostage, completing the trophy.

Fuck, this trophy got me pissed off because it felt like a scam. The previous Riddler bomb rioters only required you to get an electrified Remote Control Batarang to complete the trophy.

Junior software engineers in KL, how the is job hunting going?

I'm a 26(M) videographer, thinking of jumping into tech. But I'm aware AI is causing companies to hire less and layoff their software engineers.

Have yall junior software engineers been able to get hired?

Software engineers of Malaysia, is it worth learning coding in 2026?

I’m a freelance videographer here, looking to make a jump into tech.

I’ve been learning how to code for the past 2 months. I’m just wondering, with all the recent news with AI, is it even still worth learning how to code?

Is there even a future for software devs?

Edit: The plan for me is I just want money. I don’t LOVE coding, but I do like it! I have good pattern recognition, so I have an advantage. The plan for me is to get a job and learn, build some connections. And then jump out and start a company.
