"Stray" is awesome and this behind the scenes clip reminds us why it worked!

Hard to believe, but Stray is about to turn four years old. It still feels like yesterday when the internet collectively lost its mind over a cat in a cyberpunk world.

To mark the occasion, I remembered this great behind the scenes clip showing how the team captured the cat's movement. They strapped motion sensors to real cats. Then lured them with treats to perform specific actions - walking, jumping, squeezing through tight spaces. All the little things that made exploring the world feel so natural.

It's a small detail, but it shows how much care went into the game. Wonderful motion capture!

And honestly? A lot of Stray's success probably comes down to that level of attention. The game didn't just look good - it felt right. Because real cats don't move like robots, and the team made sure this one didn't either.

Veteran players (6+ months) are you still pulling characters as before?

This is something that has been on my mind lately. I have been playing the game for a very long time, I started around the first casino event. I have a very good account to several good characters (I'm a whale) but for the last 6 months or so I felt like I rarely get the new characters on the banners so I don't spend money other than the shadow pass (not even the daily gems anymore) because the gameplay feels stale and the banners doesn't feel rewarding enough considering that my last good unit was Demon Lili and before that I didn't get any new unit for like 4 months.

I usually pull 6 times with free gems because I don't even try to get the event characters anymore so I pull mostly during shadow fest banners.

Heck, on the recent patch I pulled 3 times for Demon Rose on her banner and nothing. I went to the step 5 banner believing I will have better luck and still nothing after 50 pulls. Only kid Victoria.

Are you feeling the same way of not even bothering about pulling anymore and just playing the game out of habit or are you still actively engaging with it?

TIL: Mi Fu's book title is "The basic training of a heavenly master"

Today I was checking Mi Fu's model (I'm love seeing how small objects move around when you rotate the model or the character moves in certain way) and I remembered that she had a book on her idle animation.

So I used Google Translate to know what the title was.

The language is apparently (even if is obvious for some) "simplified chinese" according to the auto detect from translate.

And the small number above the title it translated as "ver 3" in some cases because I tried to get a good angle to get the best translation posible and sometimes it translated as that and other times as those numbers that you see on this picture, not sure what's the real translation.

I also tried to translate what it says on the side but probably due to the angle and her hand covering part of it, it wouldn't translate for me.

I wanted to post this in case someone else was curious.
