I've identified two additional AI-specific html tags

Hello! I'm sure much of us are familiar with the recent drama over a bunch of fics being exposed for using Claude AI, due to a Claude-specific html tag being embedded in their code. For those out of the loop, here's a link to a masterpost on the heated rivalry fic subreddit which explains it and links to the document with details on the methodology. Most notably, the document provides a site skin which automatically turns a fic red when the tag is detected.

Inspired by this methodology, I did some digging through the properly tagged AI fics, and have identified two more html tags left by different AIs. I will note that these have the same limitations as the original one -- It only identifies fics which have been directly copy-pasted from the AI text box, so it is quite easily evaded. Still, I thought it worth sharing the tags I identified.

The tags:

PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer

is left when copy/pasting multiple paragraphs from ChatGPT into the rich text box.

ds-markdown-paragraph

is left by AI models which use the ds-markdown React component, which is a typing animation tool designed specifically for use by LLMs.

To add these tags to your site skin: open your site skin, copy/paste the filter provided in the document at the bottom, and then replace each instance of "font-claude-response-body" with the tag you'd like to filter -- you'll have to do it twice, once for each tag, to filter both of these.

I am intentionally choosing not to link any of the fics which contain these tags, after seeing the harassment directed at the authors named in the original document. I'm sharing so that you can curate your own reading - not to call out any individual author or fic.

How has the definition of zionism shifted over time among those who identify as zionists, and what has caused that shift?

I recently read an article about Martin Buber, Brit Shalom, and the binationalist movement at the time, and it somewhat surprised me that there were people who advocated for a binationalist state who (seemingly uncontroversially) viewed themselves as zionist. It seems like contemporary zionism means a specifically Jewish state, potentially alongside a Palestinian state, but not a binational one. I'd be interested to learn more about how zionists viewed zionism and the different factors that impacted it.

(I am less interested in how anti-zionists view(ed) zionism, so I do ask that you focus on self-identity rather than external perception.)

Games where you unlock new locations throughout the game?

I love feeling like I'm exploring, and unlocking new locations in a game is one of the things that tends to suck me right in! Looking for suggestions where this is done well.

My preferences beyond that are generally nature-y and minimal narrative. I'm not one to play games for the story or the npcs, but I very much enjoy collecting cute/cool bugs/plants/fish/etc. I also adore art styles that make good use of colour to set mood, and especially if the colour palette is one of the things used to distinguish locations.

Is there any way to follow a game and be notified when it's on sale and/or in a bundle?

Hello! Hope this is the right sub - it seems more focused on creators but I'm unsure where else to ask my question.

Is there any way to wish-list/follow games on itch? I keep seeing games that look really cool but I don't have the budget for - I figured some sort of "notify me when it's on sale" button would be obvious but I'm just not seeing it. Am I missing something or does this feature truly not exist?

I know what topics the news latches onto, but I'm more curious as to what the exciting and/or divisive topics are among experts in the field. What's fuelling PhDs, where do you expect breakthroughs in the near-ish future, that kind of thing.

The concert was planned to raise funds for families affected by the Bondi Massacre. Absolutely shameful decision from the Australian Hellenic Choir.
