You heard it here first folks. Pack up the fireworks and cancel the BBQs.

It genuinely feels like Epic doesn't realize other animals exist. The pictures I've attached are all of the dogs we currently have. In total we have seventeen dogs with probably way more to come in the future. I mean I understand people love dogs and there are MANY dog breeds and so Epic is probably trying to add as many breeds as possible (ignoring the Fortnite original designs and collab ones). But you know what other animal people love that also has many breeds? Cats. I'd absolutely love to make some of my cats but I can't because out of the five cat sidekicks we have only one is capable of making real life cats meanwhile there are many dog sidekicks which can make real life dogs. And out of the nine cats I've had throughout my lifetime sadly only two of them can be created somewhat perfectly with four more that I'm able to kind of make and three I can't make at all. And besides that there's so many other animals they could add. Where's that turtle sidekick at? I remember before sidekicks came out one of the first sidekicks shown to us was a turtle riding a skateboard. Or what about a hamster? Or a mouse? Or a rat? Or a skunk? Or a squirrel? Or a tiger cub? Or a porcupine? Or a parrot? Or a baby gorilla? Or a lizard? Or a komodo dragon? I'm not going to continue listing animals even though there's so many more I could think of that would work as sidekicks but you get my point. But instead Epic will choose to add 50 different dog sidekicks each week it seems. Please Epic just give us some variety. I know people love dogs but I promise you people also love other animals too.

Edit: because I've seen some people who I feel are taking this the wrong way. No, I do not want Fortnite to stop adding dogs as sidekicks. Like I already said I get that they're probably trying to add as many dog breeds as possible. And I'm happy about that. I like that they're trying to make it so people can make their dogs in the game. But I just wish we had more cat sidekicks so I could make more than two of my cats. And I also wish more people got to see their pets in the game as not everyone has cats and dogs. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who'd love to be able to make their pet parrot or hamster or any other pet you could think of.

Do we think NetEase will ever rework Peni so she can be outside of the mech? It's very upsetting seeing them put so much love and care into making each Peni model look so cool and different from each other and then we never get to see her because she's stuck inside of SP//dr all the time unless you use the two emotes where she does leave SP//dr. I mean just look at these skins. They're so peak and yet we barely get to see them. Would it really be that hard to make her like Hulk? Have it where she starts out as Peni (maybe give her some kind of gauntlets that shoot webs or something? I don't know this was just a quick idea I came up with and I'm sure the devs could come up with something much better than this if they wanted to), ult to enter SP//dr, and then ult again when it's spider time.

I had a pretty hard time building SP/dr but I'd be lying to myself if I said I didn't have so much fun putting SP//dr together. I am however a little disappointed that Peni wasn't buildable and came unpainted. I probably won't paint her since I'm not really good at painting and I don't want to ruin what is at least a somewhat decent model. If I do ever decide to paint her I'll make sure to share the results.
