Like damn you’d think Enhypen and Hee personally said something to these people to tick them off. The way they don’t even try to hide how much they dislike them is crazy, and this is just in one Kpop opinion community. All the other subs like Kpop thoughts, Uncensored, and the rant sub all have some weird hatred towards the boys for some reason. Like I’m genuinely curious onto why because come on now, it’s only gotten worse since Knife released and I fear it’s only gonna get nastier when the new album releases. Just so pathetic 🫩

Heeseung saying he has ADHD and now people are saying he's lying about it for attention... It gets to a point where it's not even about fan wars anymore.

People are hitting new lows because man, every day I'm reminded how trash Twitter is because why are people saying Hee is lying about having ADHD...? Like first people are mad at him for "faking" having an aussie accent and now they're straight up being borderline ableist towards him and saying that he's lying about it and how other people with ADHD don't claim him as a member of the community.

Like I'm sorry?? This isn't even just about not liking him anymore. Like if any other Kpop idol or just another person came out and said they have ADHD, would these people be saying the same shit? It's genuinely so bad, Hee decides to share this with us and of course hate rotted people have to stick their nose into it and start ruining it. Like as someone with ADHD myself these people are just outing themselves as abelist. If they feel so comfy saying this towards Hee then I wonder what they say towards other people who are neurodivergent. Fan wars aside, these people have just been saying such xenophobic and disgusting things, like this isn't even just about hating Hee anymore.

Anyways- just a small rant. It's just been so nasty nowadays. I know Twitter hate is a small percentage if you think about it but like, this is just so gross. Someone please save Hee from these rotten people, because saying he's lying about having ADHD is hitting a whole new level of low.

Stumbled upon *those* Ni-ki fans on Twitter accidentally... Forgot just how weird they are.

Should start this post off by saying I'm not even an Engene myself, however I just wanted to talk about this and thought this place would be most appropriate to post this lol, so sorry if there's any mistakes about the group!

Anyways, was on Twitter today and went down a bit of a trip with some very gross fans of Ni-ki. Started off with me clicking a post about people spreading tags for his Enchin character. I decided to look in the comments for the fun of it and came across a random profile that had Ni-ki as their pfp, and instead of tagging anything in the post they were just rambling about how cute Ni-ki and his Enchin were.

Which is like, okay. Normal Kpop fan stuff. However I clicked on their profile anyway and after doing a bit of scrolling through their account I realized that this wasn't just some younger fan girl... this was a 32 year old woman who had said she's been Ni-ki's fan since I-land era.

Of course after finding this out I was a bit put off, however honestly I'm not one of those people that think if you're an adult who likes groups with minors that you are automatically a weird creep. I mean, music has no age limits, and if you're genuinely just complementing the members and not being weird about it then who cares.

But after doing more scrolling this account was the opposite of that.

This user seemed to be very, very attached to Ni-ki and was basically writing essay long posts with a picture attached to each post with him about how without him she would be nothing.

There was also another post where she posted pics of Ni-ki in I-land and said she wished she could "Relive his innocent days."

I was already cringing, but then I decided to click the post and more comments loaded in and it honestly put me back a bit.

Not only this woman, but like, tons of other woman were also commenting and posting pics of Ni-ki at his young age and talking about how "He was so much cuter back then." and saying stuff like "He looks like he would trust anybody back then at his age."

Once again... upon clicking all these accounts, they all have their ages in their bio and they are all 25-40 year old woman who are just always posting about Ni-ki. Most importantly, most of these "Innocent looking" comments are on pictures of when he was a minor, and people saying they wish they could turn back time to experience it all over again.

By now I was like, okay... definitely not normal fan stuff... and upon doing more digging in these accounts they definitely have a thing for younger boy group members. These accounts also fawn over Louis from Lngshot, Keonho from Cortis, even posting pics of Jungkook from BTS early debut days and just any other younger boy group member. I was so disgusted because these older people are always talking about how handsome they are, also typing suggestive things towards them as well that clearly have a double meaning.

Genuinely just really gross stuff. I just feel bad for Ni-ki, honestly. Imagine having these people as your fans. Like I always knew Ni-ki had weird fans from I-land era but actually stumbling upon them for the first time ever really just made me think about how messed up it is. Like you have all these woman who are like 10 years and more older than him just so comfortably saying stuff like this. It's one thing if your thirsting over him at 20, because at least he looks like an actual adult, but they purposely take his younger photos and proceed to make suggestive comments towards them and also make weird comments about how innocent and vulnerable he looked back then and how they again, wish they could turn back time to experience it all over again.

Anyways, just a small rant. Thought this place would be more open to discuss this topic, and again just felt like ranting about it because it was so nasty seeing. Has anyone else come across these weird fans? Like again, not and Engene but it's so vile. Also even worse thinking that this is just on Twitter and what they say publicly... I do not want to know what they talk about with each other in DMs.

Everything refusing to load on mobile app, keeps saying internet connections bad even when it’s fine

Had to login to the Reddit site as the app is just broken right now for me. My internet’s up and running and every other app I use is working fine, but Reddit is refusing to load anything and keeps saying my connections bad when it’s fine and I keep getting stuck on infinite loading screens. Tried deleting it and redownloading and still the same issues. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? The app is basically unusable for me.

...Can someone please explain (Kindly, if possible) the Ni-ki shirt situation to me and explain if it's actually something worth getting upset over?

Yes, Ni-ki from Enhypen, not Mark. Ik Mark's shirt is a hot topic right now but I need genuine explaining about this situation about Ni-ki.

Basically, recently Ni-ki and Jungwon (Enhypen) had a photoshoot recently with Cartier if I'm not wrong. However, some fans pointed out that Ni-ki's shirt had Nazi imagery on it of a WW2 Nazi soldier. Some fans are also saying this is so much worse considering Ni-ki is Japanese as well... but once again, some people are saying that there's nothing wrong with it because of the certain brands history, but this is where I get confused. Because of course, I think anything with Nazi imagery on it is an immediate no-no but some people are saying otherwise.

This does sound like something reasonable to get upset about (even though well, people will just use it for fan war shit) however some fans were also pointing out that the shirt maker, Enfants Riches Deprimes, is apparently anti Nazi and is Jewish, therefore making it invalid to complain about.

Which is like, okay. However they were also pointing out that this brand purposely uses Nazi imagery and other problematic things for fashion purposes and it's not problematic because they use it on purpose for taboo reasons...? Please let me know if I'm wrong here or not.

I am genuinely just clueless on this whole situation, and was wondering if anyone here can explain it and or link a post maybe so I can find out. Asking Twitter will just result in lies and more mess, and while Kpop Reddit also might not be the best place to ask this is like the only place I think I'll get someone explaining this mess to me. Any help is much appreciated!

Again, this post is NOT meant to start anything and is not against Ni-ki, I just want some genuine opinion to see if this is actually wrong or not, and again as people are of course already on edge from Mark's situation people are bringing more things up, as this was also fairly recent. So please, fan wars aside, I just want an actual explanation. And please correct me if I got anything wrong here too, all is appreciated!

(Btw would upload an image of it but it's not letting me: If you look up Ni-ki and Jungwon for Esquire Korea I'm pretty sure you'll find it, sorry for this being a pain and again, if someone's already made a post about this please lmk!)

My opinion on the thing Jw said and why fans shouldn't waste time overanalyzing everything just to fit how they feel about Heeseung.

Ahem, please excuse me if I get a thing or two wrong as I'm still fairly new to Heeseung's career and of course the other members of En- themselves, but this thing has blown up into a disaster (no surprise there...) and I just want to give my honest opinion on it and hear what you guys think as well.

Okay so today Younji released a new episode of her show and it had Jw starring in it. It is a really good episode, I watched it all even though I don't know much about Jw but he seems very sweet.

But anyways, the main point of this whole video is something Jw has mentioned about solo work and how he feels about it. He basically said he has never thought of doing a solo career, even saying he had never thought about it even once. He also said it's because we started this together and that he's being completely sincere. (Sorry if the translation is a bit wrong, but this is basically just a premise of what he said.)

The thing he has said has blown up on Twitter and basically everywhere and now it has become another battle between if the members like or do not like Heeseung... which is sadly, not surprising but I think we need to take a step back and just think for a moment.

So first off, it is not uncommon for idols to speak about solo careers at all. I honestly think that Jw mentioning this literally has nothing to do with Heeseung, and it just has to do with himself. He's on a show to talk about his career and things he has planned, so of course the topic of solo activities is going to come up. I do not think he mentioned this specifically to aim it towards Heeseung, as he was just giving his opinion on how HE feels about HIS own solo stuff. Plus, the way fans are taking this out of context is also a bit crazy to me. They are acting as if Jw straight up said something like "Leaving to go solo is selfish." or something along those lines but in context it does not read that way to me at all. He was simply just giving his thoughts on how he would want to pursue solo work if he ever does, so any fan that tries to twist it into something else has me lost already.

Like I said in the start, it is also very common for idols to speak up about solo things and say what they think about it. So trying to make it see like Jw is the only one who's ever spoken about this isn't really smart. There are plenty of interviews where idols talk about this topic and the only reason it's getting blown out of proportion as it is is well, because Heeseung's departure is a iffy topic (It really shouldn't be though,) and of course fans from both sides are going to try and use this to their advantage.

Anyways, second off and most importantly: we don't know what happened behind the scenes.

I think this is one of the most important things to keep in mind whenever things get messy like this. We, as Heeseung's fans, don't know what went down behind the scenes. But also, Heeseung's haters also don't know that.

I'm not going to try and say what Jw should feel, if he doesn't feel hurt, then he doesn't. But if he does, well, we're all human, and I'm not going to downplay his feelings if he is hurt by Heeseung's decision as he was in the group for awhile and I can see and understand why he would feel that way, even if I don't find Heeseung selfish myself for going solo.

But again? We just don't know. I have no clue how Jw feels myself, but fans acting as if they do know Jw personally and acting up about this is just mind boggling. You aren't his friend, and at the end of the day no matter how much you nitpick at everything Heeseung an En- do, we just will never know for sure.

Anyways, I have just seen the mess this has become and I just wanted to give my opinion on it. At the end of the day this is mostly just mindless Twitter drama stirred up between Heeseung's haters and Heeseung solos, so it's probably just going to blow over but still, I also feel like toxic fans are also setting Jw up for hate by saying he's shading (which honestly Heeseung's haters view everything En- do as shade towards Heeseung so not shocking at all) Heeseung. Like come on now, you don't know that and literally nothing about what he said comes off as shade to me. It's his opinion. He's on an idol talk show. Of course plans for his career are going to be brought up and discussed. Not everything related to the topic has to loop back to Heeseung.

But that's all. Hope you all are doing well and don't make yourselves feel bad over all of this. People are great at spreading negativity but again, we just don't know and I find it very unhealthy to speculate everything.

Why does Heeseung have an Australian like accent when he speaks English?

Hi! Very new here and new to Heeseung in general, so sorry if this question is already obvious to answer or not!

Anyway, I recently started getting into Heeseung after the whole kerfuffle going on with him departing from Enha. At first I was like "Oh, that's shocking." and I didn't really think much of it... but after coming across some of his song covers I think I'll start stanning him too, lol.

On the topic of getting into him though I was re watching his live yesterday and I noticed that he has an almost Aussie like accent when he specifically speaks English. After looking some things up, I can't find much about why. And it's not like he ever lived in Australia either, as all the sources I find just say he was born and raised in Korea.

So I'm curious, does anyone else notice his Aussie accent? I'm wondering if it's just natural even, as maybe the way he pronounces English words just comes across with a slight accent to it that just happens to sound Australian? It's not like it's very pronounced either, but to me at least I can definitely hear at least a hint of it in his words.

So, is there a reason why? Does he just really like Australia or? (And again, sorry if this is a common question and easy to answer, it just has me curious.)

Kpop Youtube is absolute buns.

I always see people saying that Kpop Twitter is bad, Reddit is bad, Insta is bad, basically all the social media apps, but I don't see anyone taking about how bad Kpop Youtube is.

First off, you got these terrible clickbait shorts content that is so lazily made. They have these awful thumbnails and 90% of the time the content in shorts is just "Idols who are bad at singing" "Idols who got plastic surgery" "Idols who lip sync", I swear it's like every single negative topic and that's all these videos focus on. Don't even get me started with the amount of misinformation in these videos, I have seen stuff that is straight up lies and yet everyone else in the comments seems to just believe it and say some nasty things. Especially on those short vids that talk about idols who they claim to be "problematic", only to show some of the fakest put together clips ever... and the comments all eat it up. But in general the Kpop short content is a virus on Youtube and is full of some of the worst comments ever.

On the topic of comments, second off Youtube comments are terrible, which I think we all know already. You got comments on music videos just spamming the same thing 10 times over and over again, and don't even get me started with the "Every time someone likes this comment I'll re watch the video!!" stuff, which why people obsess over likes on a comment will never make sense to me.

The comments on short content is again, not great. People saying some of the nastiest things ever, and hardcore fans of idols who will attack a creator for simply stating that they don't like the way a song sounds. Which honestly, the over protective fans in these Youtube comments sections are the worst of it I find. I find on Youtube you will barely find any criticism of anything because the comments will just glaze it endlessly, which I find is 10 times worse on Youtube than it is anywhere else, probably because Youtube has a much wider age range but still, the amount of times I have seen comments spamming angry emojis as a reply to any criticism comments is so funny.

Third, reaction channels. I am completely fine with reaction content tbh and I even watch some and find it funny, but the amount of Kpop reaction channels that just pop on a Kpop mv and just sit back and watch with little to no reactions is painful. Like the least you could do is look like you're enjoying it. But honestly this is a problem in all reaction content but the amount of Kpop reactions being pumped out nowadays just ends up in more of these "reaction" channels doing absolutely nothing but staring at the screen and smiling every now and then. Just plain laziness.

Fourth, are those Kpop essay channels. I find these are the absolute worst channels. These channels will have some aesthetic Kpop name and make "Kpop opinions that will get me cancelled!!" videos and just regurgitate the same 10 opinions over and over again, and a lot of them I find follow the same way of video making. It honestly feels like some sort of content farm. Plus I find the people who run these channels that revolve around opinion based content are always some of the most toxic people ever who just throw shade every chance they get. They'll have some random idol as their pfp and act all high and mighty, and it is so annoying and how people watch this stuff is beyond me. Like no, I don't want to watch the 50th "Kpop idols can't sing live anymore" or "Kpop idols that give me the ick" vid. Pack it up already.

Fifth, is the terrible Kpop news channels that are just full of AI generated bullshit and insensitivity. The amount of misinformation in these videos is comical. Like I swear they are literally making up their own fanfiction, having awful thumbnails of an idol crying but they over edit it to make it look butt ugly, and then have some stupid AI talking voice to use for commentary. These channels honestly feel like satire but they are literally just making this stuff for views, and it's sad. And don't even get me started on the videos of deceased idols that they make and have some AI generated picture of said idol in like a coffin with angel wings or something. Come on now.

Anyways, that's all I had to say. I just feel like I don't see enough people talk about how buns Kpop Youtube is. I swear I very rarely find actual good content because it's all just slop content and it's sad.

Okay so yeah, having a big fanbase anywhere in Kpop is considered good, but I'm genuinely curious onto why Kpop fans say China is basically a fanbase that you want to have most.

I'm mostly asking this on the topic of Heeseung/EVAN. I see a lot of Heestans (Heeseung fans) saying that Heeseung is already safe and in good arms because he is massively popular in China. They say that just having a big Chinese fanbase on it's own is good enough for a solo career, and since Evan is so popular in China it seems I see a lot of people talking about how this is a really good thing for him. Some even saying that if Heeseung has this big Chinese fanbase then he won't really need to worry about his popularity in Korea or globally.

Not just Heeseung but with other artists too I see fans saying that them doing well in China is very good.

All I know about Chinese fans is that they are weirdly rich and also mostly like to solo stan members instead of the group itself (or so I've heard, feel free to correct me!)

So anyways, why is having a big Chinese fanbase such a big deal with Kpop artists?
