MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN Is Getting Into the Sushi Business.

After the success of his wine and coffee ventures, Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan is now opening a Sushi restaurant. Named Queen B Sushi, the eatery will open on September 4 in Old Town Cottonwood, AZ not far from Keenan’s Queen B Vinyl Café.

"Although I've been enjoying sushi since my days in Boston, circa 1987, my first Japanese tour wasn't until 2000 with A Perfect Circle," Keenan said in a statement. "It was an eye-opening and mind-blowing experience. While there, I picked up these amazing titanium and hard wood travel chopsticks from Snow Peak. And I've carried them with me ever since.

“Last year I ran into Janeane Garofalo at the Chelsea in NYC. She was saying to David Cross and Dave Hill, 'I haven't seen Maynard in several years but one thing I remember is that he used to carry chopsticks in his pocket.' At which point I reached into my pocket and pulled them out. Twenty-five years I've been carrying these chopsticks. That's how much I love sushi."

He continued: “When Jen and I were deciding on the Brunch and Ramen menu for the Queen B Vinyl Cafe, we dismissed the idea of also doing a sushi concept because we assumed it would be impossible to find a legitimate sushi chef in Cottonwood. Turns out, he was standing right next to us.

“Chef Brett Vibber, our Culinary Director, has worked around the world. And he’s highly trained in Japanese cuisine. Who knew? And his vision for food and wine in Arizona seamlessly aligns with ours. So, here we are. Queen B Sushi, the sister location of Queen B Vinyl Cafe.”

From what I remember Courtney love is the one who started shit by claiming MJK was a media whore? Then Maynard shows up with this shirt.

The first time I saw him with this shirt was on a program called Much Music... It played clips of No Quarter LIVE interspersed with interviews of Maynard with the shirt. Oh and he also had breasts.

Don't bother to look for that because I've spent years trying to get a copy of it. I had it taped on VHS but I lost everything.

I believe Maynard said that he feels sorry for Francis Bean and is surprised that she can keep sane with such a toxic mom lol. I also heard that he would give away these shirts for free at Tool shows.

Edward Mordrake was so fkin cool and super important. I believe he will at least be mentioned in the new season. He showed us that Elsa and Twisty are actually tragic victims... Elsa the victim of being raped, mutilated, and forced to be on a snuff film, twisty the victim of jealous dwarves who falsely accused him of being a pedo.

He is super charming and courteous but he will expose the darkest hour of your life. Edward Mordrake pt 2 changed my life, I somehow realized that we are all freaks in this life with our hidden darkest hours. But we can't let that define our lives.
