Proper might be the wrong word. It used to just be clear panels but now there’s plywood and I have plans to add rigid foam insulation.

Seems like a lot of us have the same story. Immigrated in the 20s-40s from fishing villages outside Palermo to the Bay Area (Pittsburg, San Jose, SF). My great grandfather (second pic) was part of the wave to Monterey that helped bring Sicilian nets to the Sardine fishery. Steinbeck wrote about that era in Cannery Row.
I feel like I could do the day to day grind most places. But when it's Friday or the start of some time off, what lesser known cities offer great access to cool, relatively close destinations.
It feels like there’s some great value to be had on vintage Pentax gear these days. Seems to be flying under the radar compared to other brands.
