Ok, so I’m downsizing and came across the Minolta. Obviously in bad shape and probably doesn’t work. But before I toss it in electronic recycle, I thought I’d ask if anyone takes these for spares parts? Would be free (plus shipping).
We have a contract on a home that’s interior needs painting in the worst way. I don’t want to have to do anything twice but I also don’t want to be forced into making color decisions under pressure. I’m thinking of picking a white and doing the ceiling in flat, the trim (very little trim) in gloss and the walls in eggshell. Am I crazy? And what Valspar/BM white would you pick?
I’m hoping this is the right sub to post this in. I have been enjoying making greeting cards using embroidery. The flower patterns are from an Etsy creator. I back them with fabric (see last picture).
Some of you might remember me posting months ago asking for options on how to quilt this. It sat in time out until I had to finish it because we would be visiting the recipients. I finally made a decision and I couldn’t be happier. (Picture shows it before the binding was added but it’s just black binding so it pretty much looks like this).
Another question (for those that have read this far)…do you have any tips for washing it to remove cat hair and batting fuzz?
I’m making a Seaglass table runner (inspired by IG @exhaustedoctopuss). I used the trick of using the mono filter on your phone to help with gradient. Did I do ok with the spacing/placement? My eyes are exhausted from looking at it for 2 days 😵💫
