On the HP omen RTX 5050, Intel Core Ultra 5 225H I can get 5-6 hours non gaming on a 70wh battery.
People always tell me gaming laptops last 2-3 hours but this is enough for a school day for me.
I've been pondering this.. There's so much maintenance going on, and I feel like laptops have so much risk for failure compared to desktops.
In fact I already own a T490 thinkpad and its enough for me for school (not doing engineering). Engineering/people who need high end specs for programs I can understand
I know my laptop has an integrated GPU so it should have this but I literally do not see it anywhere on Vantage
If we’re being honest cooling pads aren’t even doing most of the work it’s the elevation that’s actually helping lower temps.
This elevation can already be obtained with a cheap laptop stand . I forgot the name of the YouTuber but they pretty much confirmed this too.
I remember holding off on the Neo because it wasn’t compatible with Examplify.
Is this still the case?
Asking this cause I remember on canvas they said to avoid using this specific MacBook because it doesn’t work with examplify (I believe in may), is it different now?
