One dealership is offering me the “best offer they can” so I countered “can you match the trade in?”
They said “Hey man, I just checked with the store owner, and we’re offering you the best deal we can.”
This has to be a lie right? How often are you discussing with the store owner about a deal?

I have never personally bought a car but I’m ready (for the most part) to buy now.
I’ve never understood the whole “X amount down and you’re out the door” or whatever marketing dealerships use to get a car into your hands.
Don’t I have to pay the fees, taxes, etc. at the dealership when I pay for a car?
Also the car I want has 0 inventory anywhere so I would I have customize it online and order it. That’s like 0 room for negotiation, right?

RefInsight is telling me it is just under an hour (58 minutes) to drive to and from the tournament work at the end of the month.
The assignor says that lodging would be available depending on mileage.
How do I know if I qualify?
My city had multiple assignors. Is it a bad thing to contact each of them or even reach out to some for a second time?
I have already reached out to a couple but haven’t heard back. It’s been a day since I reached out.
I also don’t want to be that guy who appears like they are bombarding the assignors with emails.
I was looking at buying from Amazon and OSI. Amazon would get here sooner and I would have it so I am ready to go while I wait on my order from OSI
How bad of quality are the flags, cards, jersey, shorts, and socks from Amazon? Would they last me the 7-14 business days it takes to ship from OSI?
Definitely not trying to be the macho "look at me and what I know about refereeing" but I wasn't sure if there was a way to be memorable either?
I am wanting to become a referee for a few reason:
Love of the game
Help get me into shape
fairly flexible hours? (this is where I am not so sure along with other things that are listed below)
The issues that are holding me back are my current health (I'm 6'1 300 lbs.), how I get jobs, what to expect in training, and how soon I can go from getting the certification to the first job.
Again, I have a day job, but having a second income being around something I love is never unwelcomed.
Is this right for me? If so what do I need to bring as there is a class Saturday I would sign up for. Said class is stated to ensure completion of both online and on-field trainings.
I’m looking to buy a large capacity HDD to mainly store photos but maybe the occasional game as well.
Is 5400 RPM too slow for store photos after a photography session? What about an occasional triple A game?
