Came soooo close, but it would break our spending agreement! $444 after the 3% cc and shipping, but not including taxes, so more like $488

The thought of not being able to play with it, put a damper on it as well....

Am going to get me one this size EVENTUALLY!

My daily carry by order.

Top - 2.5" Ranger is all day every day work carry as light enough to not know it is even there (front pocket) and not pulling pants down @ less than 8oz. BEST SHOOTING MOUSE!!!

2nd - is what I grab and again " front pocket", if going somewhere and don't want to take time to IWB the P365 and / or don't want people to notice, such as church. 10+1 in pocket with auto green lasernis NICE!

3rd - Folding is my elastic waist shorts pistol under 7oz. GREAT SHOOTER for a short distance.

4th - is my original Ranger I pocket when I want to be as comfortable as possible in pants the wife likes (fit). 😆

5th - P365 is my going to the city, Walmart, or basically anywhere away from home or small town. Also, keep my "Top" Ranger in my pocket when carrying the P365 just because, so light and easy, why not. VERY sweet shooter with trigger barely touching 3lbs.

Which Grip is right?

I am just now replying to a post I missed this morning and thought I would share. Yes, I repeat a lot, BUT I am old, and that is what we do, 😆

I have tried about 4 types of grips and am now waiting for the NAA GRW-M oversized wooden grips to come in.

So far, the rubber NAA oversized grips like come on the Black Widow (on my 2.5" Ranger) are by far my favorite with the "Hamre Forge" at number 2. Still haven't shot with the Hamre grip enough.

BUT, I must say the folding grip could easily be the best because of sheer size for shooting, but it is just an added "TWO HAND" step I don't want to use if I truly need my pistol.

That honeycomb $20 grip from eBay is truly a nice feeling grip as well. I noticed it was hard to make out in the 1st picture.

As I have stated many times before. Using a $20 bore sight laser and dry firing, using snap caps truly tells the story. "AND" can make you an excellent shot with a pistol that has a reputation of maybe hitting a barn.

The small wooden eagle head grips that come on 95% of these NAA pistols are absolutely beautiful and truly keep the pistol as what it is designed to be SMALL! And may actually work for some, especially very small hands.

With my 1st NAA 22, I personally couldn't hit a metal bucket on a fence post 10 ft away, and neither could my friend. Now, neither of us was shooters at all at that time. Although we were both trained in the military over 40 years ago and again over 40 years. (Was about 30 years at that time)

My hand is large to extra large according to leather gloves and size 11 wedding ring. The small eagle head grip is too small to grip well enough to prevent movement when pulling the trigger, as I have measured trigger pull as high as 8lbs.

Once I started dry firing with the bore laser, it told the story of movement. And it was VERY hard to be consistent at all with the eagle head grips. And missing my ring finger on my right hand doesn’t help the matter @ all! 😆

I then tried the NAA slip on rubber grip, which did help a good bit. Then, when I purchased the Black Widow that came with the oversized grip, the game was on!

As I moved on to the Rangers, for me, the rubber NAA oversized grip follows and remains the grip to beat for everyday carry. I did as well move up in barrel length as I progressed, which also increases the accuracy of course.

The bottom line is a grip that fits your hand and prevents movement, while pulling the stiff trigger is key! And again, the bore laser will shock you at how much pistol moves when dry firing. As I went from not even @ 10 ft to 45 ft if I try hard and 30 ft quickly all day long @ a 8" gong.

Dry fire practice as such did in a few weeks what years of bullets couldn't do much @ all!

Be safe as always and ALWAYS treat all guns as loaded even when empty, as well as NEVER have finger near trigger until ready to shoot!

So what's in your pocket?

Had my daily pocket carry NAAs out measuring gap between cylinder and barrel and snapped a couple picts of all of them and top to bottom is my order in which I carry most.

Ranger 2.5" (with speed loader in holster)

LCP Max (10+1 with safety and green laser)

Ranger 1.5" (pocket with 5 rounds in holster)

Standard 1.125" (folding clip on grip)

1 of these is 24/7 in my right pocket "everywhere" except flying, even when my P365 is on my side.

UNLESS, sleeping, showering, or swimming, but there will be one as close as possible. To me, it is like insurance on your house, as you should ALWAYS have it, as ya never know when lightning may strike!

Found my holster made for Swiss Army knife and NAA revolver

A few days ago I went to put on my edc Glock 27 holster on the sport band I wear under my normal pants. Walking out the door I realized this was in my back pocket. I thought hmm why not? And kept it on me. I’ve been doing that everyday since and have come up with tons of reasons why it’s a great idea. Being able to arm a competent friend or family member in a sticky situation being at the top of the list. Second time posting this gun but I did want to share the current holster and that little story. Hope you are all doing well and Happy early Father’s Day!

This is my next purchase and 1st non-WMR NAA

I didn't know until recently that these were that much smaller than the WMR as in smaller frame and only 4oz! Got to have one.

THEN a Sidewinder 2.5" LOL

I carried this for a week with it in this holster and clipped in my front pocket. It pulls very well and quick, leaving holster behind in pocket. Now to get much more plinking behind it, as it is actually feeling like a fit for me dry firing in the house anyway.

4 weeks back on my ship, and then a week of vacation, so it will be @ least 5 weeks minimum before I get a chance to plink and report.

Just pray the next set fit, if not I will again MAKE THEM FIT!

Selah!

In CA. They're just so much fun. Want the Ranger II, or sidewinder, in the 1" barrel. May have to settle for a Pug

Well, for me, it is the exact opposite start to finish of what "GentleWake" thought.

My set would not fit 3 different 22WMRs…. Which blew me away, since I have heard the fit in finish from more than 1 was like absolute, which is why I tried them on a 3rd gun, which was not a Ranger.

Wasn’t so bad, but I did whittle for no less than an hr., while having my morning coffee and watching the news, as I was determined to make them work.

Once, I got it to close up like a clam they didn’t line up, so I whittled more until I did get the alignment up and down, I wanted.

Now comes to fit and function! I absolutely love it! I actually like the grip, as well as the clip, while gripping to take up more room. No, it wasn’t as good as my oversized for plinking, but if I knew no better, I would have stopped with this grip.

And as stated, have always heard great things about fit, so maybe mine slipped thru the cracks, but neither side would go on the gun, and think most was the center molding (but not all). I beat on them with my meat hammer (yes, hands where sore), then would carve away the markings.

For me, it is a 4.5 out of 5 stars only because I had to make them fit, but love them. Do not think it would be the case for most (this set) as the fit of a $70 grip (after taxes, shipping, and $10 clip) would be a no-go.
