Hi, I recently turned 25 and I’ve been able to hit a net worth of 50L in the 3 years of my career.

The breakdown is as follows

FD - 3.75 lacs
Savings Account- 2 Lac
Stocks and Mutual funds - 29.25L
Real estate - 16 lacs (plot of land)

Apart from this I’ve around 16.5 lacs in EPF.

I’m a software engineer by profession and started my career with a really good salary.

I couldn’t really share it with my friends or family for obvious reasons, so posting it here as I wanted to share about it somewhere.

When I started college I didn’t even think I’ll be able to make this much by 25 as I was from a tier-2 college.

Also, I’m not someone who saves and invests aggressively and sacrifices on experiences. I do almost everything that I feel like doing, like going to foreign trips, buying expensive stuff, etc. It’s just that I don’t spend impulsively.

I also got a decent car for my father (He did 20% down payments and I’m repaying the loan), which was the first car in our home.

I’m really grateful for everything that I was able to achieve and that I was able to repay all the efforts, my parents put on me.

PS: Will reach 70L including PF after I receive the salary for this month

I’ve been a fan of Struggler Saala and watched all episodes multiple times. I was planning to watch Mamacha Govyala Jauya, but the reviews on internet are bad. But “Struggler Saala” has its own following, so I wanted to ask those people for the reviews of the movie, if they’ve watched it. How’s it compared to the series.

So recently a lot of reels of this guy Pratik Shinde who has a tea shop called Sukun Chaha and apparently earned good money selling franchises.

But from the reels he looks like some chhapri reelstar. And the kind of arrogance he holds just made me little curious about how much does he charge for a franchise.

Since last few matches, GT is getting the Ahmedabad pitch curated in a way that helps their bowling lineup a lot. If GT reached final, wouldn’t this give an unfair advantage to them. What do you guys think?

Mulshi Pattern was released in 2018 and I absolutely loved the film. The acting, story, characters and the message, everything was top notch. But it feels like unintentionally they ended up glorifying the “Bhai” culture.

The movie was so raw and the actors felt so relatable unlike the glamorous bollywood gangsta movie, that it may have motivated a lot of teen, young guys to go down that path.

Since last few years, every now and then I see these hooligans carrying koytas, vandalising public property, threatening people. The movie has also shown how the law and order is so bad that you can literally get out of jail in few days or weeks even if you’re committing a murder. I think this also gave a lot of confidence to these people to just carry a koyta and do whatever they like.

The same movie if made in Bollywood(which they did) wouldn’t have influenced to this level.
