If They Can Do It, So Can We For Battlefield 3

Just wanted to put this out there and see how you all are feeling about this, especially in the console side of BF. Since Activision ported Black Ops 1 and 2 to PS4/5, do you guys think it's about time we got Battlefield 3 ported to modern consoles as well? Yes, we could just "play it on PC," of which I personally own the Premium edition of, so I've walked both paths, but for those of us who either only own a console or just want the convenience of a console, we should be able to replay this masterpiece once more, right? If they can do it, so can we. Lemme know what y'all think <3

Glitch in the End of Part 1 (SPOILERS!!!!!)

(HEAVY SPOILERS!!!!!!!) I'm playing the original 2013 game on my PS3 and I'm having a bug I hope y'all can help me with. Joel takes Ellie from the hospital bed, gets in the elevator and starts descending to the garage, but when the cutscene is about to transition from Joel in the elevator to the door opening and him leaving, the game cuts to black and essentially freezes. I can't complete the game even though I'm practically right at the finish line. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I've tried stuff like reinstalling game data, replaying the chapter, etc. and nothing. Thank you for your help 🙏

A Discussion About A Part Of The Industry

In regards to the topic of how big budget games nowadays are too big to fit on discs anymore and all this online bs is needed to make playable, what can we do to fix this issue for games that don't need it (not talking about games specifically meant for only online functionality.) I mean, besides keeping on boycotting publishers to make applicable games be on disc and completely playable offline, what can we do as consumers to let these publishers and developers of these big games know that we want them to stop forcing an online component to games that don't and never would need it? For me, I think we as a group need to make developers go back to the old ways of optimization. Nowadays they all focus of cramming as many gimmicks into a game as possible and forcing you to use AI gen frames/pixels to even play it. Constraints breed creativity and developers really need to try harder to optimize and otherwise make these games run on discs. That's how it was with the PS3 generation, the PS2 generation, the PS1 generation and so forth (PlayStation gamer here.) Great results can be achieved with limitations intended to created new ideas for developing games and I think modern devs need to go back to that tried and true formula. If nothing else, that would help bring back the "magic" of gaming and wondering how video games pull off what they do like how we thought of games back when we were kids. What do you guys think?

Do We Think We'll Ever Get It?

Simply put, seeing as Skrillex is releasing older songs officially like with Voltage on FUS, I'm really hoping we'll see an official release of "!!!' which is his collab song with Nadastrom. I always loved that track growing up and listening to SoundCloud rips and everything lol! What do y'all think and what are some tracks you hope get an official release?

What Y'all Think?

Warning: Long Post

I've heard that some people have said throughout the years that they want Gekyume to take up his father's mantle and get into the rap game when he's an appropriate age, but, we gotta think about it; X's music often came from a dark place, a less than ideal upbringing, and other troubles X had to deal with growing up. I know there's still lots than can happen from now until Yume starts singing, but, thanks to X, Yume is gonna have a much healthier upbringing. His family's got more than enough money to keep him fed, keep him housed, keep him in school, etc. All that is to say, if he does take up music, then we'd get our wish, yeah, but he's likely to have a totally different style compared to his dad, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I want to hear from you guys. Do you think this is probably how it'd go, and if so, would you still be excited for it, knowing it'd be different from what X did. Personally, I like to think of it this way; Gekyume's music, given his healthier upbringing, could be a window into what X's music could've been like, had he been able to evolve, create, heal, and spread the positivity he was trying to spread before he passed. Thank you for your time. LLJ

Anyone Know The Link?

The link on the SoundCloud page for Rock You (2014) doesn't work to download the song. Is there anywhere else it can be obtained besides just using a SoundCloud/YouTube to MP3 converter tool?

Need Help "Altering" My DualSense

I want to limit the maximum output of the joystick. As in, "I've pressed my joystick all the way forward, but I want the output to be as if I barely pressed it with minimal force/effort." I'd like to know if any of you have your own DIY or simplistic/cheap methods for achieving this. The specific game I'm playing doesn't have an option for adjusting this specific controller value (I'm trying to play it slowly as it's a scenic game) and as far as I've seen, there's no setting in the PS5 settings that can do this either. Thank you for your time <3

If Sam hadn't shown up when he did, if he kept staying away from Bridges/UCA, what would their plan have been to expand the chiral network, save Amelie, etc.? Would they have just sent the second expedition without him (since it's outright stated he was with them when the voidout happened?) How would that have played out? Curious to hear y'all's thoughts on this.

And on that note, when Mama first met Sam in that first order, why didn't she immediately go like "Guys! He's here! We can expand the chiral network now since we've been waiting for him for years!"? (I say this because multiple interviews in the game state they wanted to get Sam on board for the chiral network's expansion)
