Wanted to see if it was even an option to try to remake this swim suit in a larger size. It looks to be mostly made of elastic strips sewn together with a zig zag stitch, but the problem is, I’m not sure what kind of elastic it is. It’s a swim suit, so I thought maybe be it was aquatic elastic, but I haven’t seen it in any colors. It’s also kind of has a “softer” finish than most elastics.

Is this a special kind of elastic with a special name? Or is this something only the fashion industry has access to?

I got a drip of latex paint on a fabric wall baffle (sound treatment panel). I immediately cleaned it with some dish soap and water and thankfully was able to remove most of the stain. However, it dried with a ring around the stain that I suspect is some paint and some soap residue.

Any tips on what to do with this?

It’s quite a pain in the ass to remove the baffle from the wall so ideally would love to leave it up while cleaning. The fabric is 100% polyester and has some foam padding behind it.
