Hey I just became aware (a day too late) about the meeting regarding the AI Data Centres that are being built. I feel very strongly against these money/resource pits and would've loved to know when and where the discussion/protests are taking place so I can attend. I am hoping someone on here can provide me with information on when the next meeting is scheduled, what can we do and what is being done about them and where we can be to help out.
Hey, a couple of months ago my TV up and died. It was working minutes earlier but when I tried to turn it on again I get nothing...

I have tried a hard reset. I have checked the IR on the remote and replaced batteries. After that I went digging. I removed the back panel, unplugged everything I could and then plugged everything back in. Nothing. Eventually I figured the IR sensor was shot as the red light works but it doesn't blink when I press buttons on the remote or and pressing the power button does nothing... New IR sensor but same problem...

So as it sits now, the red power light comes on solidly but nothing from there.

What should I do next?
Edit* I forgot to mention I have had the TV since 2021
Hey Lonnie,
I had a back injury at the start of last year and have been in recovery ever since. I am mostly back to normal now but it's been really taxing, especially mentally. Has made lockdown feel like a brisk holiday. I have spent 18 months mostly in my own company inside.
Before my injury I was an avid hiker, cycler (not in the middle of the road) and dabbled in Archery. As a teen I was an active skateboarder and played some soccer.
My sister in Victoria keeps telling me how much fun she has had getting into sport, cricket and AFL. It's got me thinking I would like to do something similar.
I think a team sport would suit me as I am completely void of anything remotely competitive. Though I do like to help out and pull my weight so though I personally don't care about winning I would hate for my team to lose... If that makes sense...
I am a guy in my mid 30s. While the injury has definitely affected my fitness I am still able to endure.
Do you guys have any recommendations, I am leaning towards cricket or something similar. Obviously I am wanting to enter the D-est of D-Lesgues.
I remember accidentally finding this show late one night when I was a kid and immediately being hooked! I would scan the TV guide to make sure it was coming on. I ended buying both DVDs and watching them religiously!
No one I know ever watched it.
I am wanting to build a curing station for my 3d printer, I have the UV led strip powered by a USB A. I want to splice in a little hobby motor to slowly spin the table... How would I go about doing that? Also I rigged the motor up today with 4 gears to slowly spin the table, is this the best way to go about it or would it be better to install some kind of speed dial?
My mother in law asked me (a couple of years ago) to try and get into this antique cabinet she has. It was her parents and she inherited it but there were no keys. She has had it for almost 5 years at this point and never opened it. I did try once but really have only mucked around with padlocks for fun. My next thought was to attempt to unscrew the screws. She doesn't want it damaged in any way.
As I said she has asked me to get it open for her.
P.s. I did not cause the damage to the lock opening.
