I am working on the city of Buffalo in the Minecraft server earthmc, and am looking for help. I have already built the liberty buildung, Sullivan building, M&t bank building, and town hall. I will be building the bills stadium (I’ve started it) and the Sabres arena. For anyone who is interested, the ip is go.earthmc.net.
Unfortunately, I’ve gone through 28 sessions of TMS, and my OCD is the same as it was before (Y-BOCS score of about 37). I’ve tried many medications, including Prozac, Zoloft, Abilify, buspirone, memantine, 150 mg of chlomipramine (which I will get increased likely after TMS officially finishes this Friday), Xanax and seroquel for anxiety spikes, and methylfolate, and none of them have done anything to help me. I even tried 2 mg of Xanax after asking my psychiatrist if I could try that if anxiety spiked which he said was ok once a week, but my memory from that night was fuzzy and it didn’t help me.
I tried TMS early in the summer after 150 mg of chlomipramine had done nothing for four weeks (which was what my psychiatrist recommended). I was unclear on this, but because of the severity of the ocd, and the fact that it is mostly mental compulsions, both of the doctors at the TMS center thought that doing the TMS for depression would have a better chance of helping me than the TMS for OCD. They also thought that the provocation in the OCD protocol would be too intense for me right now, because I am unable to do ERP due to the severity of the OCD. I learned that it wasn’t an OCD coil around session 20 something, which surprised me, but they are the experts. After 28 sessions, I’ve felt zero difference from when I’ve started.
Insurance won’t cover deep TMS, because they don’t cover TMS for ocd twice, and the doctors thought the best way to treat the ocd was using the depression coil. I’m now not sure what to try next. I’ve tried most medications, and I’ve looked into things like spravato which my family does not want me to do. One of the TMS doctors talked about something called stellate ganglion block that they don’t have access to now, but will get access to soon. I’ve also looked into two procedures at Butler hospital in Rhode Island (deep brain stimulation and anterior ventral capsultomy), but that is very complicated, but in my opinion, might be what I need to do to get better from ocd. I could also do a PHP at Roger’s, but I don’t know how that would work with money. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Somewhat of a vent. I’m really struggling. I’ve tried so many things for ocd including therapy, ERP and medications and nothing has touched it. Nothing touches the ocd and I haven’t truly been happy except momentarily in years. I’m so sick of ocd and I’m sick of nothing working. It’s like I’m cursed to have this my whole life. I don’t know what will make the ocd better. It seems like most people find something that helps, but I’m in the unlucky minority that hasn’t found anything yet. Maybe TMS will work around the 30th session, but if it doesn’t work, I’m not sure what to try next. I have ideas such as DBS or anterior ventral capsultomy but both of those I can’t afford. I hope I find something that works.
I’ve had 17 sessions of deep TMS for OCD and had no improvement so far. I think the treatment team started at 600 pulses, and they’ve now moved to 1800 pulses starting today. What are the chances it will work. I’ve tried a bunch of medications which haven’t worked, and therapy twice a week with an ocd specialist that didn’t work. I’m looking for something that will finally work
Has anyone done any of these for ocd? I’ve tried a lot of medications including the most effective ones for ocd, augmentations, and therapy with an ocd specialist twice a week. I haven’t seen any improvement. I finished my fifth session of TMS (the ocd protocol which is called deep TMS), and if TMS doesn’t work, I need to think about what to do next.
I have heard that deep brain stimulation is very expensive, and ECT has bad side effects. I also heard there is something called anterior ventral capsultomy that might be less expensive with insurance, but it’s usually done after deep brain stimulation, which I can’t afford. Has anyone had experience with any of this?
I am building the new highmark stadium in Minecraft and would love help. In the server earthmc, which is has a map of the earth, I am the mayor of Buffalo, and I have already built the Sullivan building, the liberty building, and the town hall. I also attempted to build canalside, but it isn’t very good right now. The map for the server reset about a 3 weeks ago ago, so I am doing many of the builds from the previous builds again. I attached picture of some of my old builds from the old map (the old highmark stadium and keybank center).
Any help would be awesome, since it’s not an easy project, but once it’s done it will be great. The map reset at a convenient time, because it reset around the time that the bills are moving to their new stadium. The stadium also hosts games (that’s why there’s glass around the field to prevent griefers), so it has a use (not just to look nice).
