Hello, can I make a straight cable out of the CORSAIR Type 4 PSU 90° 12V-2x6 Style B Cable? It seems the cables are bent under a plastic clip, can I remove the clip to have it straight?

Im looking to get a gpu for the next 2-4 years, cuz currently I have none, well Ryzen iGpu but you cant game on it.

Im looking at a 5060Ti 8GB for 440usd(local price converted to usd, cuz I dont live in the US), next option is 5060Ti 16GB for 700usd, 5070 is 850usd and 5070Ti 1100usd.

My budget is around 500usd, I could stretch it to 700usd for the 5060Ti 16GB, but 850usd is very far. Ideally I want the 5060Ti 16GB, but the price is very high that its not that strong to justify the money.

I play mostly casual games and sometimes new releses like Forza Horizon now, but im fine with Dlss and 60fps.

I was saving for a Asus Rtx 5060Ti Prime 16GB since Techpowerup review showed it can run at like 800rpm fan speed under load, but now that I got the money its barely in stock, theres some backorder but for like 800usd. My cpu is Ryzen 5 7400.

So what should I get? Prices are converted to usd, we dont have usd or euro here.

I wanted nvidia because DLSS is really good.

Rtx 5060Ti 8GB Ventus 365usd(discount, but only for a few days)

But for 800usd i can get a Rtx5070, but i dislike 12vhpwr and more power=mote chance for coil whine, or Rx9070/Rx9070XT but then no DLSS. 9060XT 16GB price is like 600usd, same as the cheapest 5060Ti 16GB(Palit) but i would like to pass on that.

Hello. I bought a Ventus card and as soon the fans start to spin, it makes this weird bearing noise like old sleeve bearing fans. Is that normal?

I see people saying the top panel gets stuck, missing screws, missaligned feet, can insert videocard cut the holes dont align, etc.

Did they improve the quality controll?

Fractal Meshify 2 owner here and looking for a case that doesnt block the fan.

I have 6 Noctua A14x25 G2 fans, so I want to use them and I need solid side panels, no glass or mesh.

Torrent. Front fan rails are behind the fans so thats good, but bottom rails block it. Closed top=cat friendly, but my psu makes buzzing noise not sure how much i will hear that since pc in on the desk.

Meshify 3 XL. No front rails in the way. But no fan filter, holes is the side for side fans. Build quality seems a bit poor.

Since the Torrent has open bottom, does it mask coil whine and fan bearing noises less than Meshify 3?

Is the Torrent going out of prodiction soon?

Overall the case would be good, but there are a few design quirks that honestly making me want to sell it or return it.

The first issue seems to be caused by the fans trying to pull air through the fan rails, which creates turbulence. I’ve seen people say spacers fixes it, I already tried using the Noctua spacer which do not help, the I seen people say thicker spacers help, I tried 140mm fans hollowed out as spacers and I can still hear the issue loud and clear, they help a bit but they act like a pipe which adds more turbulence noise.

My second issue is that the front lower fan makes weird noise due to the PSU shroud.

My third issue is the front filter, while its nice, but cleaning it is not nice, I need to rip off the front panel. The Meshify logo handle is super flimsy and the plastic hinges doesn't seem all that Robust.

I’ve tested the fans across a range from ~500 RPM up to around 1300 RPM, and the noise just gets worse the higher you go. If I take the fans out of the case and test them, they’re basically silent, so it’s definitely something with the case setup.

It’s not even the front mesh either. Taking the front panel off doesn’t change anything. This feels seems ridiculous.

At this point, I’m kind of fed up. Does anyone have any case recommendations with solid panels(no TG and no Mesh side) that don’t have this kind of issue? Maybe Meshify 3 XL?

I really thought this was going to be my endgame case.
