Most cost effective way for busses

Hi, I’m staying in NJ from Friday to the 19th of August

I’m working in NYC and I mapped the busses so I’ll need to take the 24 to the 12

Honestly I’m just trying to figure out the best method. Is there a monthly cap like New York?? Or will it genuinely be 3.80 for wach bus (15 a day??)

I’m just lost, I’m coming from an area where public transit is pretty much non existent

Accepted a job, moving across country Friday. Got an email for a job that pays more than double

The title is as it states. After months of being unemployed I decided to go after a job I secured that would give me a masters and would be meaningful. But I yesterday got an email for an interview for a job that’s remote and pays 140k. I’m honestly just hurting because I’ve already uprooted my life, my spouse, and have had my family help. I’m finishing packing while typing this.

I know this is a “one in hand, two in the bush” situation but I’m afraid it’ll eat at me forever. Just need advice on how to not let it

EDIT: more context because this is getting more attention than I thought but I’d have to leave a classroom of students at the beginning of the year if I accept the other job after the interview process

Homework/Work on trains

Hey I’m moving to ny soon, I found housing on queens but I’d be working probably in the bronx so it’s gonna be a commute. Do people do homework or work on trains with their laptops? (I’m trying to figure out how to make the best use of this time since it’s gonna be unavoidable)

Temp work

Hey i wanted to see if anyone knew about any gigs in the area! I’m open to any work, cleaning, yard work, etc. I’m a recent college grad looking for work to help with an upcoming move!

Relocation from GA to NY for job

As the title says, I was offered a position for a teaching job that would set up my future perfectly. The only problem is that they provide reinbursement. I have my first day at the 27th and I’m broke as hell. My cat had an emergency life saving procedure that broke the bank so I’m just lost now. I’m applying for gig sites and jobs for quick cash and am going to a temp agency Monday. Any advice or encourgement would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
