This game community is painfully annoying and it has leeched away whatever motivation I had left. I quit

At first, this post was about me blaming my elo and how I am enjoying every game a little less, but I feel there are many posts like that, so i will try to be more concise here.

If im honest, league is my first competitive experience in a videogame, yet, outside of game chat, i will be honest.

In my 20 years of playing videogames, i have never ever in my life met such a pedantic, annoying community to ever exist such as League has ever had.

Let's start with low elo players, oh i am so experience with these guys because im a low elo player myself!

There are plently of specimens in these brackets that i can say they are the most unexperienced yet experienced people to even give you advice in the rudest way possible in this game, IN-GAME and out of this game through other subs or discord.

I have never met so many delusional people in my fucking life just like all of these players. They are at two braincells of developing paranoia.

NONO, BUT YOU DONT GET IT IM STUCK BECAUSE OF EOMM, BUT LOSERQ, BUT MY TEAMMATES, BUT MY WINRATE, BUT MY ACCOUNT, BUT MY INTERNET, BUT BLAH BLAH, excuses, excuses, excuses, excuses.

They will go as far as to either fake their rank, get boosted, or trashtalk someone who is higher rank than them just because they won a draft normal game against them.

The worst of the worst of this community.

Now, getting to high-elo, i think, in this case, i don't even know what it counts as high elo anymore, because they just change it everyday, they will first tell you its master+ above, only gm/challenger, only top 100, everyday it changes depending on who says it.

I've never had an interaction with a real high-elo player that ever felt real at all, it is always very pretentious people and strange to speak to.

Not just that but the way they give an advice, are just almost as condescending as low elo players do, they do seem to be interested enough to give an answer, but they will give the most vague bullshit you will hear compared to just "take a break" advices.
And i dont understand this, if you have the energy to type advice to someone who is lower, why the fuck are you not having this same energy to give a good advice then brother? Oh yeah because no one pays you, then just dont type shit brother.

These people will belittle you and feel big enough for their rank just because you're a "master+", aka one of the top 3 high ranks with the less players there, and if you're lower than that, my brother in christ you better be ready for the ego showtime you're going to witness.

"What do you mean you cant win with [insert x highest winrate champ of the patch] in [insert x elo where most of the people are in]? I gigamegaL9 ultrasmurf stomp there bro! HAHA!!! XDD!!"

With all this said, basically this community has leeched off any motivation i've ever had to become a good player in league.

Maybe every competitive game is like this and i am just being a whiny bitch, i dont know, this is my first one as i said earlier, but this completely, has lost any sense of worth or personal goal as i dont even have friends to enjoy any grind or new rank i unlock.

I’ll stick around Classic because it kinda feels more chill and they are adding new-old champions so thats interesting to be honest.

Champion's PTSD and how to overcome it?

There are many, many champions that i can remember getting my ass beaten by them, i also did beat them in scenarios where i was able to, but most of the time i just remember during the game i am with those champs the bad moments i had.

If i have to give examples, lee sin is a recurrent one, and my go-to ban out of all ban options, as i've had many, MANY games where he could just roam after a 3 camp rotation to get one or a double, after that, he would always, just always snowball into him getting fed and my team flaming me for not ganking enough.

Is there a way to overcome this fear to these kind of champions? Is there a champion specifically that also makes you feel miserable? Let me know if anyone else has this issue

[UNBELIEVABLE] Former ex-rank 1 EUW & KR OTP Rengar player NattyNatt gets put in the place he deserves by a Sagacious Draven player

Former ex-rank 1 EUW & KR OTP Rengar is left without words after the argument of an astute Draven main

"the past is the past unc"

How is NattyNatt ever going to be able to recover? We will never find out.

League and Educational Content; How essential is it to be able to climb consistently?

This post is a series of questions since there is alot of content about how to climb in league, unranked to challenger videos on certain champs, fundamental videos, etc.
The videos i seen so far are about 6 to 30 hours of just content, so my question is.

Do YOU recommend watching as much educational content as possible? What channels would YOU recommend? Or do you think all of this is a waste of time and its better to learn by just queueing up?

I want to know the general opinion about this topic.

[Genuine, ignorant question] How do you check and have for certain an user that just broke the summoner's code have been punished?

I know they sometimes just gives you a heads up when you open the client when someone gets a ban for being afk, or disruptive chat and ping, but besides that, is there another way to find out?

Will they ever do something about Aegis and filled support?

The people who play supports filled usually does not care over the fact that they only require to buy a couple of wards, hit some autos, farm the adc wave to get a B+.

Hence, why is it even B+? It should be S at minimum
Back before this aegis bullshit atleast people tried to play the role when they were fill, as it still counted as a full loss, and no one wants to lose their pixel points.
now since being filled is a no punishment and full reward(2x LP if you win, 0 loss if you don't), they dont care about ruining 9 people's game.

By far the worst of the worse that they've ever added to the season.

Edit: they already did something about it lmfao.

I don't understand what this game wants me to do.

To give some background,

I been playing for arround 3 years now, i am plateau'd gold, peaking gold 1 in these 3 years.
Reason is simple, I am playing way too much roles, way too much champs, because i genuinely have fun with the game, i want to master and understand this game as a player.

to give some background, i started playing as a warwick main jungle, jungle is one of the roles that is almost always available to play, so i decided why not? and from there, i've went all the way to different champions, so i've played almost every champion possible.

Right now one of the champions i have played the most is Draven ADC and Yone mid, but a day ago or so i been playing just jungle, going back to my roots, and after losing an unfortunate game, i lost 4 in a row.

If anything i was feeling pretty miserable as I felt everything was out of my control, so i just decided to play adc draven in an account i have with skins of the champion, and i drop a kda of 30/6, done most if not all objectives available(including drakes and turrets), completely stomping the lane and winning the game.

My question is,
What i am supposed to do if i want to climb as a player? I keep hearing to check my fundamentals, check my micro, my macro, check how i ward, wave management, etc.

I won't say i do all of these in a proficient skill, i feel its completely impossible as an average human(emphasis on average) to do all of these consistently in each game you play.

TL;DR
Hardstuck gold, won 6 games as jgler, lost 4, i lost it, went to play draven, i stomp a game with 30 kills, objectives and won the game, what is my identity?

There has never been a Support player that does not have a single bit of Malice in their Heart.

I will be honest to you.

Everytime a support player ints, it does not come from a place of Ingenuity.

It comes from a place of pure Hatred and Vitriol.

Let me explain what I'm trying to say here:

When you're an ADC and you see that another position is trolling/inting, you'd think they're a bit slow, they're not in their senses and they will, eventually, be able to recognize the fact that they're not playing well.

You leave contented knowing there are people in this game community that will recognize their mistakes.

A support player does not do this.

A support player rather shows to you how much he despises you, even though they're someone you've never met in your life, but they rather treat you as a long-time enemy.

Everytime a support takes a kill with ignite, last hit a cannon, picks lux, takes your whole wave.
It's not something that comes out from a person who just made a mistake.

It comes from a disingenuous person.

It comes from someone who truly is rotten inside, someone who just does not like the fact you are having fun with the game, and rather tries to find a way to ruin your experience as much as they can.

I sincerely am very shocked and even heartbroken with the fact people like this is in their vast majority support players.

Riot should make these actions reportable.

League Classic Builds/Runes/Mastery Ideas Thread

I know, i know, the gamemode is on PBE and things are still not really settled, but still! I would love to know what options we have for the ADC community in this gamemode.

So far this is my late game sivir's build as an example, i've never been arround s1-s3 so if anything looks odd, feel free to tell me.

My Mastery is 22/9/0, as shown in the image those are the options i have for ADC champs

and on runes im just running the gold generating ones to reach my spikes faster, idk what is it about this gamemode but last hitting feels way harder lol.

i've started playing league at season 11, so my theorycrafting on this could be pretty wrong, tell me on what i could improve! I would appreciate it

u/Brokehood404 — 1 month ago

As someone who started in season 11, I honestly regret missing this fun i am having in PBE back in the day.

yes of course there are tad bit of stuff to touch and rework, but the game is way more fun than retail, even if im playing it at 200 ms.

The community is way more nicer than to what we have in retail, i had so much fun speaking to you guys than i do in retail (And i have even been flamed in normal gamemodes such as normal SR and ARAM lol)

The gameplay is way more slow paced which gives you time to think about what to do next, the champs being oversimplified, rather than it being a problem, it frees some mental space that retail champs clutters in order to learn the game, making macro decisions more significant.

Honestly, things can only improve from here :) great work, im loving the gamemode so far, i hope eventually it turns out to be its own thing

yes, the champ is more gutted into being braindead to play, but thats part of the fun, when it goes lives youre never going to catch me playing retail summoner rift
