Is it possible to disable the syntax markdown on live preview mode

I am fairly new to obsidian, so forgive me for the dumb question.

Everytime I click on a formatted text in my note, it shows the code version of it, like this.

Is there a way to disable this code from showing up when I place my cursor on it? I want it to just be as is when my cursor is on the line of text. Hope it's understandable, thanks

My wacom pen acts differently depending on the software.

As seen on the photo, using my one by wacom leaves a weird small stroke when I start to lift my pen from the tablet. But when I do it on medibang, this issue is not seen at all. I tried messing with the pressure on the driver, updated the driver, and even tried changing tablet settings in krita to no good results. Anyone else have ideas on how to solve this?

How can I properly teach statistics?

Hello! I might start tutoring a cousin of mine on statistics, but I am unsure of where exactly should I start.

For context, my cousin (who is from another country) is going to start school somewhere this september, and statistics is one of the subjects they will be taking up. They have no background on statistics and it will be their first time learning about it, hence they want someone to give them a basic rundown of it before school starts. I was asked because I am a STEM student (about to enter college) who took statistics 2 years ago, and because I'm a family relative 😅

While I'm open to sharing my math knowledge and trying a new thing out, I'm also really nervous and a little confused on where to start. Do I start with types of sampling, or start off with set theory and segue to probability? What important terms and concepts should I layout first before diving into the deeper stuff? What resources do you guys recommend that I can use as a guide for teaching statistics?

If it helps, I was also given this link, so let me know if this is a good resource/reference for teaching statistics as well. Thanks a lot guys.

I have a love hate relationship with greed purgatory altars

Listen man greeding is fun but when the server is clearly filled with more lower leveled people who are still understanding the various mechanics pls don't activate it literally every round. Everytime this happens 90% of the server dies and the fate of the round is left to one high leveled guy who barely collects golden gifts because they're too busy dodging entities. Idk man just wanted to let this out lemme know if I should change my mindset on this

Can I still appeal for UPM radtech in the DPWAS form?

Hello! Was checking the DPWAS form today and did not find Radtech sa list of DPWAS courses for UP Manila, which is weird kasi I know bago lang yung course na ito. Napuno na po ba lahat ng slots or is there a different way to appeal for that course??

struggling financially as an incoming freshman...sigh

posting this here cuz natanggal yung post on another sub.

I passed big 4 (UPD BS-HRIM, ADMU BS-MIS, UST BS-CS, and DLSU BS-IS) and while my family and I is overjoyed, medyo worried kami about the tuition fees.

I've always wanted to go ADMU bc of the course and the connections, but even after trying to apply for 50% fin-aid, I didn't get in. My parents ruled out DLSU bc it's too far from us, and we're still unsure pa about UST since I only got waitlisted results yesterday. I don't rlly wanna go to UP rin since the course (which my parents chose for me) is a course I don't really see myself doing, but we accepted the offer na rin just to be safe. I'm planning to appeal for a change of course in UP, but idk if it will work out.

It just sucks talaga, mahirap maging mahirap. ADMU is my dream school and the fact na my chances of going to ateneo are getting lower due to finances is just making me devastated. My parents are trying to get more money (were trying to sell a condo that covers my tuition), but it hasn't been sold yet.

idk im just panicking talaga, im so lost on what to pick from the 3 (ust, admu, up). we did look up other scholarships, but most of them are not open yet or we do not meet the annual income limit. I just rlly wanted to vent this out, thanks for reading.
