So after starting season 4 of the Kaguya anime and I fell in love with the OP of the season, Love is Show. Naturally, I checked online to see if anyone had done an english cover of the song because I thought it would be fun to see some covers. Strangely, I couldn't find a single one, not even by creators like AmaLee, who considering her connection to the series I thought would be most likely to make a cover.

So after looking through and finding nothing, I decided "Fuck it, I'll do it myself" and as a small project, I'd make an english cover myself. Here's what little progress I have so far after day 1 of this project!

first thing I did was get the romaji lyrics from the Love is War wiki, and using a syllable counter online I kept track of the amount of syllables in every line, with the plan being to try to match this as much as possible

Step two was to get the official raw english translation, again from the Love is War wiki, that I would plan on rewriting. To make this easier, I wrote small summaries for each "stanza" in bold.

So far that's all I have, but the plan at the moment is to create a rough draft of what I wanted to have for the lyrics, essentially in a similar form as stream of conciousness poetry, before seeing how I could take those ideas into actual song lyrics.

At the moment I have no plans to record myself singing whatever I come up with, this is just a fun writing challenge to help kill time. If anyone has any suggestions for song lyrics or advice for how to make my process better, please go ahead, I'm very new to doing anything like this so any advice or suggestions would be appreciated

Obligatory apologies if the explanation is a little vague, but the name's been on the tip of my tongue for a while now

So from what I remember, it was a pretty standard chatfic (Mineta gets replaced by Shinso, canon divergent, Bakugo and Deku being on actually solid terms, simple stuff like that) with the gimmick that the names were all nicknames given by Bakugo, labelled as "Kacchan names", with it being considered a rite of passage to get your own Kacchan name. Bakugo was annoyed at this but ended up admitting in dms with Izuku that he actually felt touched by the idea.

So for my MHA X Dispatch fic, I'm planning on writing a scene where Shiggy grapples with the trauma associated with both his name of Tenko Shimura and his name of Tomura Shigaraki and tries to sort of destroy those identities and make a new one. One problem, I have no idea what to have as a new name for Shiggy, so I thought I'd try collecting ideas and opinions from here. Therefore, my question is a two parter:

1. What would you add or remove from this idea to make it fit better in a story? (general tone is a mix between comedy and drama if that makes sense, with a lean towards comedy. Sorry if this is a bad description, I kinda suck at describing fic tones)
2. What new name would you recommend for Shiggy to replace his destroyed identities?

Sorry if this doesn't fully fit, but this and r/BokunoheroFanfiction are the only communities focused on this kinda thing that exist on reddit seemingly, and that community didn't provide any help

okay hear me out here, in MHA Vigilantes one of the main villains in the show have the ability to use their super speed to land multiple punches in one second. I know this is basic but what if someone like Gojo or Naobito who have the speed to somewhat replicate this also utilised Yuji's Divergent Fist to basically confuse the opponent more than DF already does so. Am I onto something or am I being an idiot?

Hexsquad Groupchat Shenanigans - Chapter 1 - Broxy386 - The Owl House (Cartoon) [Archive of Our Own]

So quick context for those unaware, about a year ago I started posting little chatfics (stories taking place in fake groupchats) to Reddit for fun. About a month ago I came to the realisation "oh shit, people will wanna read those" and decided to port them to ao3 by embedding the images into the fic. It's a bit of a time consuming process but I finally managed to port every single one of my chatfics for The Owl House to ao3. Hope you all enjoy!
