I am officially done with the betta group! (Ty for having me)

I am officially done with the betta group! (Ty for having me)

I’m giving away my bettas to a small aquarium shop and agreed to take them in for me.

My ocd and anxiety are getting so bad I just can’t take it. I missed a water change and luckies fins got clamped up again :(.

I plan on dropping them off today which is really sad but I know it’s for the better as someone can provide better care for them.

It was interesting but at the same time stressful lol 😂 thank you for having me toodles!

Any good websites that sell cheap plants? Should I buy discounted plants at petsmart?

Petsmart is expensive like bro 😭. I haven’t had any bad experiences but like it’s so expensive And the discounted plants are so tempting like 30 percent off but when I went to go look I picked up a plant and I got a STRONG whiff of BOUNCE THAT- no but like it smelt really bad 😭 I don’t want to risk root rot and mess up my tank…

Ugh

Should I take a risk on buying plants that might have snails but duckweed free?

I saw some water sprite on aquaswap for 1 dollar a piece plus shipping fee which is really cheap but it might have snails but no duckweed! Idk should you take a risk or should I just pay the extra price for snail free plants?😭

Is it possible to not have to use all in one fertilizer?

Idk why but whenever I use fertilizer from petsmart like flourish my plants melt so bad and die but whenever I leave it alone and don’t add nothing no fertilizer just light, hard water, fish poop I see them growing so leaves and roots?

Lowkey don’t know why this happens but idk is it possible?

I use Anubias and floating plants 🌱

Ok how do I fully help him?
I got Lucky and he’s doing better like his fins are not clamped as much and they look beautiful but randomly they go back clamped? I’m changing his water frequently, adding a bit of an extra dose on Stress coat +, and I have some drift wood to release tannis so I don’t understand? How do I get them to fully unclamp?

I feel so fricken guilty and like a failure wanting to quit but my job, especially after worrying on and on about how I want on but McDonalds isn’t working out for me.

  1. I’m working in the back so that means dealing with raw food etc and I’m a HUGE germaphobe with ocd and anxiety so I’m constantly washing hands so much that I now have contact dermatitis:(.

Not to mention ALOT of people are talking about how they are getting fed raw burgers where the inside is literally pink and I’ve witnessed it myself where when the 60 second/2min timer goes off on the clamshell grill the patty is still pink/red with bubbles and has a pool of blood juice or something(IDK IF ITS BLOOD BUT ITS LIKE RED JUICE) on the patty and the workers just still place the patty on the board and serve it.
I try to flip it over for a couple seconds before taking on the tray but they literally threw it away and started over with the patty when I gave it to them.
My sister in law was a victim to the raw patty yesterday but they basically just told her “that it’s not raw and they check the temp so sorry for her”.

I don’t know maybe it’s not raw but I don’t really want to get involved and be in the middle of all of that. I feel like my parents are disappointed in me or like I didn’t even try. I didn’t want to just up and quit while I’m still working because that would seem idk rude or unprofessional I feel so I waited until I’m off which I’m off tomorrow but go back to work the next day maybe I should inform the manager tomorrow? :/
Am I doing the right thing? This is embarrassing honestly like I feel like I’m wasting these people’s time.

I’m still very new so I don’t know a lot of stuff and I don’t know if I should ask the manager about this or.. likeee… and I apologize for this question!

I go 6 hours without drinking water 😔 ik ik it’s so bad but I don’t know if I can take a sip of water whenever I’m on break or if I can go whenever I please and take a quick couple gulps and go back to work. Can I do that? Will I get yelled at if I walk out of the kitchen for a bit to take some sips then go?.

AND can I bring my own water bottle with a non spill-able lid to store in a locker or do I HAVE to get a drink from there?😥 I really hate getting drinks from there. Especially with like open straws and I store it in the locker like what if dirty particles get in my drink?

Really curious this is my first job

16 homeschooled and my first ever job at McDonalds working in the back lol.

My work hours are 6 hours every day 9-4 expect for Monday and Wednesday because I’m off so about 30 hours all together?

Just got back from my first job yesterday and I’m so exhausted like it hit me like a truck when I woke up today that I took a nap and almost missed DRAMA CLASS! Am I going to work myself too hard to death or something? Is it normal to feel this exhausted or is my work schedule too much?

I plan on changing my daily schedule like going to bed earlier etc to see if it will help.

First day at my job today! First ever time working and I almost wanted to quit lowkey.
I was the only girl working at the grilling station :( All guys over there where I was working at.
I felt a bit left out bc all the girls was with the fries and taking orders and drinks giggling and I had to hang out with dudes. but they were kind of funny and chill lol.

Anyways at first one guy was teaching me how to do the chickens and one of his buddies was whispering “don’t do it… this job sucksss! It’s hard” and then the dude teaching me told him to shut up and how he didn’t mean it and he’s just mean and don’t listen to him.

At first I was so confused like WTFFF DO I DOOOOOO I was walking and standing there asking 200 questions and repeating the same questions I felt so annoying to them. I was about to cry and ask to quit on my first day but I breathed and sucked it in.

One dude was really nice he kind of reminded me of my 2 brothers and he taught me how to do things.

I made 2 or 3 mistakes
First was accidentally not taking off my gloves when grabbing the frying bar and how I was touching the bar with frozen chicken nuggets on them. I felt so fricken dumb and kept apologizing just he said it was fine like dude I just contaminated I’m so sorry 😢.

Second mistake was I accidentally put the wrong type of cheese on the burger MY BADDD!!! The dude just threw it away and started over and didn’t get mad.

Third was I burned my finger cooking the burgers 😔 ouch mane.

Made another mistake so that’s 4 but I forgot to count the 20 piece chicken nuggets so I didn’t know how much chickens I was placing cuz it was so much dawg so I’m sorry to anyone who got a 24 piece or a 18 piece chicken nugget I’m new guys.

It started getting much easier and stuff and I mainly did burgers and load the chicken nuggets which was super easy for me!
Learned how to yell if we are running low on cooked food like nuggets etc
Ngl I had a bit of difficulty getting up to check on the food in the warmer I had to stand on my tippy toes lmfao.

But yes everyone was kind and kept helping me on things and teaching me what these combos and the menu items mean to me because I don’t know ANYTHING about the menu and how to make it lol. 😂

I got a free McDonald’s meal too with a drink too because I was working from 9 to 4 non stop with no breaks dawg so YAY!
