Pretty crazy counterfeit for $2
I got this [COUNTERFEIT] knife for fun off of the TikTok shop for $2 with free shipping. It’s crazy how good it looks and feels considering I know it’s not actually from benchmade (packaging has some misprints). I mean for $2 I’m not complaining but I’m confused what do companies gain by selling these well-made false knives at such a loss? Better than some $30 knife at a hick gas station or whatever…
Check engine light just came on… what is THIS
I have a 2001 MK4 GTI VR6 5-speed. No check engine light until 20 miles ago. Car still runs and drives smooth. Oil and coolant change recently. ABS and traction lights as well as a check brake pads light are on before this (that’s under control)
Just got my first car!
very excited, picked up this 2001 VR6 manual for $3k. it has 210k miles lol, but owner was a mechanic student and did a bunch of work on it including a new timing chain assembly and clutch and flywheel and cv’s.
the car runs smoothly. im new to manuals so my driving is not 😭
biggest thing rn is cleaning it up as he had it sitting under a mountain ash tree for a month, and fixing up some paint peel on the roof (the first picture is from before the tree droppings lol)
if anyone has suggestions for cleaning, fixing up, etc., please drop them here :) I’m totally new to car stuff but i heard this is a good car
