Time for a re:Visit of Hudson Hawk?

I vaguely remember this movie from when we rented it when I was kid, but I do remember it got blasted to hell at the time. It was weird enough that I wonder if it is worth a reappraisal, especially since they've taken an interest in the late career of Bruce Willis. Though it is kind of weird that they've never done a re:View of Die Hard. Do you think this is worth an RLM segment?

The last page of ST 1989 #2

I'm curious as to what the last page of #2 is setting up. It's obvious Arcane is going to return, but why the mention of Matt Cable? I can't imagine him playing any role in the story, since he was off being Morpheus's raven at this point.

Is Sailor Moon really Sailor Theia?

I've noticed that none of the other satellites in the solar system have patrons. I wonder if the reason Sailor Moon has one is because of the currently accepted theory of the formation of the moon. It's currently believed that the primordial Earth was struck by a Mars-sized planet called Theia, and the smashed up pieces of Theia eventually coalesced into the moon (though some parts of it are on Earth, including the entirety of its core. I guess Mamoru really does have Usagi's heart. :D).

Did anyone else do this?

I remember the first time I heard of Quentin Tarantino, my first thought was "Wow, he has the same name as that ghost!"

Plot hole in Millar run?

In the Millar run Swamp Thing states at one point that the Parliament of Trees was lying when they said that Tefe was going to be a bridge between plants and animals as a way to bring them closer: in reality she was created as a weapon. There's one rather huge problem with that: the idea of creating a plant elemental in human form wasn't the Parliament's, it was Swamp Thing's (in fact, he grew a giant brain in order to figure that out). I noticed there was another mention of it being the parliament's idea in Volume 3.

What did you think of Man-Thing?

I'm really curious to see what Swamp Thing's fans (aside from myself, obviously) think of Marvel's counterpart characters. (I always thought it was hilarious how Len Wein was the editor of Man-Thing during the early Gerber issues.) I became familiar with the title because of its connection to Howard The Duck. I really loved the manic energy that Steve Gerber brought to the title, and the artwork of the swamp was so wonderfully spooky and atmospheric and can stand toe-to-toe with the best that Bissette and Totleben ever did. For that matter, has anyone here read the original Heap stories that inspired both characters?

Woods porn reference in Mark Millar's Swamp Thing

So apparently this phenomenon manifests in Scotland as well.

Are the Morrison/Millar issues worth reading?

I have read the original run from the Wein years all the way to the end of the Collins era. My favorite eras by far were the Moore/Totleben/Bissete, Collins and Wein eras. Do you think I'll like the Morrison/Millar issues? They aren't Dark Age superhero crap, are they? They came out around the time that things got really bad in American comics.

Did this scene appear in the manga?

I remember in the 1990s anime there was a scene where Minako meets everyone at Rei's shrine, and no one recognizes her because they met her as Sailor Venus. Did this happen in the manga as well, or did they just recognize her?

I also think it's kind of weird that our heroes didn't figure out that the two weird people who suddenly showed up in town were Sailor Uranus and Neptune, even if we accept that the senshi form works as some kind of disguise.

Jars of something in old duplex chimney thing

Apologies for language and non seriousness of video…but really have no clue what these are. Any help would be beneficial…or at least entertained.

I've seen this a million times over the years, but there's nothing in the manual about how to reverse a spell. Was this a dropped feature?
