Who is in charge of the reversible lanes at City Hall?

  1. Has there been a change in Illinois law that allows semi trucks to drive in the left hand lane now? I have forever thought it was illegal but maybe thats just an urban legend since I've never seen semis in the left lane or in the reversible lanes. Driving into the city yesterday at 3pm I saw all 18 wheels of blocked vision slide to the left like it was a wedding reception dance.
  2. Who tf is in charge of the reversible lanes?! People are coming INTO the city on a Sunday afternoon for baseball, a sold out Soldier Field concert and whatever else and in the afternoon the reverse lanes are going OUTBOUND and hardly any one was on it. Then, of course, driving home from the concert, the lanes were INBOUND and again, mostly empty.
  3. Shout out to the guy driving at 12:15am northbound 90/94 with no headlights. Legend!

The pole from the garbage compactor

There is a scene in the third episode of The Mandalorian where he is walking thru an alley to rescue the child. In a brief shot you can see garbage in a corner and I noticed a pole leaning against a wall that is remarkably similar to this pole from Episode 3. I don’t think anything is a chance coincidence so, could this be a deliberate Easter Egg?
