DNA testing for Jindo mix?

My wife and I adopted this amazing dog from Humane Society of Southern Arizona! Their veterinarian identified her as a "Basenji mix," but she seems more like a Jindo mix than anything. We sent her DNA to Embark, and their suggested results were not impressive (I'm a genetic epidemiologist). I suspect that their library of DNA traits is too limited to pick up a breed like Jindo. Does anyone have any suggestions for a reliable DNA service? p.s. this is our dog Angel!

Why doesn't Guild make a solid-body bass guitar??

In the 1970s, Guild marketed both the S-100 Polara and JS-Bass II, in both short and long-scale versions. I bought my S-100 in 1973 and still play it, and wish that Guild would re-issue their JS Bass!! They are as scarce as hen's teeth, and I had a short-scale for a while (sold it when we moved), so I know that these were very advanced instruments for the era with double hukbucking pickups! Considering all of the new short-scale basses hitting the market (for crossover guitarists, young players, women etc.), I think it would be a great opportunity!! Thoughts?

Is our adopted dog a Jindo?

Hello all! My wife and I found a lovely dog at the local Humane Society chapter, and we decided to make her our "forever dog!" The vet at HS thought she was a "Basenji mix," but we think she is more likely a Jindo! Please see her photos in this blog post and let us know what you think, and best wishes, Chuck, Ginny and Angel!! https://michaelklothphotography.com/blog/making-up-for-lost-time

Grand Power LP9M

I was searching on the Internet to see if anyone was making modern handguns in the 9x18 mm caliber, and came across the LP9M model by Slovak manufacturer Grand Power. Here is a YouTube clip with a firing demo. Has this community heard of this? I haven't seen any posts yet....
