I make Crystal Spiders ✨

I hand form, weld, and solder stainless steel armatures so each spider has adjustable posing and use all glass/crystal beads (no plastic or acrylic) and use a heat-cured enamel paint for the booty 🖤✨

Just wanted to share my updated Latrodectus crystallum 🖤✨

I personally make these crystal spiders using stainless steel wire I both weld and solder into a durable and pose-able armature and all glass/crystal beads (no plastic or acrylic).

I made some more crystal spiders 🖤✨

I make these crystal spiders using jewelry-making techniques: welding and soft solder.

All stainless steel wire and crystal/glass beads (no plastics or acrylics).

These spiders do not pose a fire hazard. Prisms are the result of a broken light spectrum (weak light) not concentrated points of white hot light (like spheres or magnifying glass lenses).

I made a special version of my crystal spider: Task with Suvi’s sapphire pendant

I made Aabria’s little crystal spider Task that she had in her dice tray at the beginning of Critical Role. I’ve recently been making smaller, hanging designs of my spiders and I wanted to make a special version specifically to represent Task & Suvi’s sapphire blue pendant. 🖤✨

Araneus marmoreus & Trichonephila clavipes crystal spiders 🖤✨

a.k.a Pumpkin Spider & Golden Silk Orb Weaver. Featuring two amazing clips from creators I used for anatomical reference. I’m so jealous they got to run in to these beauties in the wild.

Swarovski limitations being lifted? I received this email this morning, but not seeing very much confirmation

Including a picture of one of my recent beading projects to follow rules (hopefully), but I thought this may be interesting to some members of this community to discuss as this was such a ✨unique✨ business decision coming from such a huge brand. I received this email early this morning from BlueStreak Crystals (Uk) but am not seeing much when I google or look at other distributors websites- maybe this is just early?

E-mail I received about Swarovski limits this morning, but google hasn’t caught up?

I thought this might be worth sharing - I received this e-mail early this morning from BlueStreak crystals (UK) but when I google it or look at some of the other Swarovski distributors, restrictions have not been lifted yet. Maybe this is early?

No one in my real life appreciated my excitement to make a bunch of little crystal worms (NOT maggots!) 😩

I made crystal spider and black widow earrings

After over a year of trial and error, I’m finally happy with these designs. Both earrings are made using stainless steel wire, welded and soldered for durability.

Crystal spider earrings include vintage Swarovski abdomens and beads, with Czech glass crystal drops.

Black widow earrings are made with black onyx abdomens , black spinel and glass beads, with a Mozambique garnet drop.

UPDATE: Finally figured out my spider earring design almost a year later…

First pair has front legs unattached, black widow pair has all legs attached and I can’t decide which style I like better as they both wear pretty well.

In Vancouver, WA- little gold babies with black specks on their bums. I’m wondering if they might be my baby cross orb weavers? They were almost all gone the next day after a very breezy evening.
