1.5 miles/Kwh average for the first 500 miles. Getting about 1.4@60mph on the freeway, 1.5 and better on the back roads. So far about a 50/50 mix.

On the road again towing

Back on another 3k road trip, towing our airstream. Getting very good mileage, about 1.4 with cruise set at 60, 1.5 or better on the back roads. Averaged 1.5 from Tampa area to N Ga mountains.

Range Obsessed

Today I was driving my 1953 MG TD, nobody ever asks me how much range it has. I have driven it from California to Florida. BTW, it goes about 175 miles before the light comes on that says there is a gallon left. I have also ridden all over the country on motorcycles with about 100 miles of range. But when I tell people I will be taking a long trip in my SR Lightning, they lose their minds that it only has 240 miles of range.

Sealer for plywood in moist enviornment

We are building a mushroom grow room and I was thinking of lining the walls with plywood sheathing and waterproofing it. Would epoxy floor paint work for this? Looking for a cost effective means of doing this.

Modifications to older Airstream to improve aerodynamics

I have been doing some mods to improve airflow to my 1993 21’ Sovereign.
I removed the old range vent and made a flush opening door.
I made a front window rock guard from Lexan and filled along the edges.
I made a fairing from the top of the propane locker to the rock guard to try to control vortices off the propane locker.
I filled in the sugar scoop bumper ends; I would have cut the bumper, but they are a valuable part.
I installed Moon type wheel covers.
I have seen a change from about 1.3Kwh to about 1.5Kwh.
Next, I would like to tackle the sides of the propane locker.
