Quick weekend trip to test out the new RTT

Initially I found the ikamper a little more annoying to put away but I learned a few tricks this trip to make it easier for myself.

Somethings I really like is how it sits on the rack. It’s a lot narrower than my old tent so it fits a lot better, even leaving room in the front to mount a set of traction boards. The tent design and material also works a lot better in windy conditions and does not flap around as much.

And the best part is getting the spot that I’ve been eyeing but haven’t been able to stay overnight cause theres always people camped up here. View was amazing.

Like sweatpants

Switched to the kolloqium / delugs strap from the original leather nubuck. Love how comfortable and snug this strap feels. I can wear it at the gym without thinking about adjusting it as my arm swells.

Am I wearing the equivalent of sweat pants on my wrist now? I went the full comfort route, with the elastic band and the ultra light titanium version of the khaki field.

Problem with new ikamper air mattress

Does anyone have a clue on how to properly deflate this thing with the updated air port? Even the inflate / deflate tool they sent me doesn’t have attachments big enough to hook on to this adapter lol why is it so wide?

I’ve tried 2 air pumps and none of them can create a seal tight enough to fully deflate the mattress. And rolling it doesn’t get enough air out to close the tent.

Really enjoying the khaki field auto in titanium

I just received this watch and it looks / feels great in person. Coming from a grand seiko this feels a lot lighter and a little more casual. Definitely can see myself wearing this more often and having it match with all my gear when I’m out camping.

On a side note, I was wondering why I feel so at home with the dial design and it hit me. It’s cause the dial reminds me of older gauge clusters I love from cars like the Datsun 240 and the Porsche 993. As a car enthusiast, I’m digging the aesthetic.

Vivo shoes spotted in “The Boroughs” Netflix series

I was watching last night and couldn’t help but notice the cool stoner artsy dude in The Boroughs Netflix series is rocking vivos haha. I got way more excited than I should’ve to see a pair of vivos so clearly shot in a really good show. You guys should check it out just for this scene 😬

These are perfect

Just received a pair of new tracker AT low’s and these fit like true 9.5’s even though they are 9’s.

I have a pair of gobi 2 sneakers size 9 that were very tight on me and I almost decided to quit on vivos cause they don’t make half sizes.

Pro tip: check the actual measurement/ sizing for each shoe. Apparently the tracker lows are longer than the gobis even though it’s the same size on paper. Super happy with the fit and overall look.
