Like I understand one thing powers only humans can have, but I find it at least a little silly.

This goes for others like my precious severan dominate to.

Pentex is big, but hegemonic they are not.

I wanted to flesh out some of the ideas, both I and others in the comments had in of my series about arachnid fera.

So here it is!

Seaspiders chilling(hehe) in the Antarctic because sharks can't survive there.

I mean greeland sharks probably can but they're on the other side of the world so who cares.

Whip spiders are good at climbing, fast when they want to be, and ambush predators, making them great at steal. Thus their fera watch the rest of creation from the shadows, giving them a unique perspective on both their cousins plans and the actions of other fera. Which is to say, they think their fellow fera could go about things with a little more forethought.

I like the idea of a fera that sees the bigger picture. Which of course, begs the obvious question of why don't they do something about it? Much like there animal counterpart, they are quite docile. I think their core flaw is that they nihilistically (and somewhat accurately) believe that even if they did point out what was wrong everyone would be too and arrogant and stubborn to listen to them. Which opens up the floor for new generations to break that cycle! Werewolf is a game about breaking cycles and building a better future after all!

But that's just what I could come up with. I would love to hear what you guys would do with them

So my idea for weresunspiders is that they are devout worshipers of Helios. Praise the sun and all that. Now for those who know about Sunspider this might confuse you, for those who don't, I'll explain. Sunspiders actually really don't like being in the sun. Solifugae literally means "those who run from the sun". So why are their fera worshipers of the sun?

Well, according to the legends of what I am now dubbing Solisequei, their creator displeased Helios. What the action was is lost to time, but what is know is that is was dishonorable and worthy of the Sun's denouncement. Thus all of the Dishonorable ones creation were filled with the innate knowledge of the Helios disapproval. Now the Solisequei work to aton for the sins of their creator and know the light of Helios with out fear.

At least that's one version of the myth.

Ricinulei are an interesting animal, they are microscopic, Live in caves, And have no eyes. They are also really hard to find because of their size and habitat.

I'll be honest.I couldn't think of anything for the Pseudoscorpion, so I just made this. Poor Garra.

That's their cultural name by the way, Garra. It just means claw in portuguese, but I think it fits them. Claws are the main thing you know?

Fun fact, Brazil has some of the most Pseudoscorpion species in the world!

I don't have any name ideas for this one i just thought it was funny.

Ok i have figured i'd just use modified versions of their scientific names.

So turns out mites aren't really a singlular species, just a bunch that share a lot of common traits. But there is a name for this large group, and it's Acari, so im gonna go with that.

As for ticks, Ixodia(singular: ixodi) from their order name: Ixodida

I have no idea what the harvestmens cultural name could be. With the scorpions(Aqrabu) i used mesopotamian myth. But i got nothing for the daddy long legs. If you have any ideas, let me know.

Also once again, i am making all this up as a little hypothetical. Don't take any of this seriously, unless you want to use it as inspiration for a homebrew or something.
