First time restoration!

Hi! I am interested in restoration and antiques. I bought a cast iron pan in a charity shop to learn before trying to restore my other pots/pans (with a higher sentimental value).
So far I have been scrubbing it with steal wool for what feels like hours and using oven degreaser (for several hours at the time). There are still some spots with carbon build up.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of it? Either for this project or in general?

PSA to healthcare workers!

The bottom part of the gloves can be used as hair ties! One of the nurses recently taught me this, and it has been a game changer!

Edit: posted a video in the comments

(This isn’t really advice, I couldn’t find the right flare)

Please type me, part 3!

Hi! I have made 2 post so far, one without drapes and then one with drapes. It turned out I have been wrong about my colouring all along…

Most commentators said light spring and a few thought summer or autumn.

I have fair and rather translucent skin that showed my veins all the way up on my arms and shoulders

Please type me, part 2!

Hi! I posted yesterday without drapes and recived a lot of comments asking for pictures with drapes.

The pictures are taken in front of a window and are not edited- however I suspect the phone camera might have adjusted the exposure of the picture automatically

Please help me find my color season!

Hi! I really want to learn what colors suit me best and what color season I am.

From that o rave gathered by looking at others peoples posts I think I have low contrasts- I have a hard time figuring out if I have neutral or cold undertones though. What do you think?

I have kind of ”see though” skin. My veins are very visible over my entire legs/arms/upper torso and I often have flushed cheeks

Product, care and hairstyle recommendations

Hi! I am relatively new to hair care and want to take better care of my hair! I am looking for advice on products and hairstyles that work in a hospital setting💇🏼‍♀️

My hair: fine hair (but a lot of it) what doesn’t hold shape were well and easily looks frizzy

Current routine: shampoo and conditioner from the drugstore. I use the Sephora hair nourish in wet hair and Nuxe hair oil when it has dried.

This it what it looks like after it has air dried without being brushed and no products. The waves ”fall out” after a day or two. I work in a hospital and have to have my hair up, I usually have it in a braid or ponytail- this shapes my hair and often created wierd ”lines” on the hair.

[Routine help] Feedback and product recommendations wanted!

Hi! This is my current skin-care routine and I have been using it for what feels like for ever (with a few product switches). I feel like it really doesn’t anything special. I am looking for feedback on my current routine and product recommendations for thing to add and/or switch!!
I am also looking for body-care recommendations!

Current morning routine:
- water
- EMBRYOLISSE lait creme concentrate
- beauty of joeson sunscreen (if I am going outside)

Current night routine:
- klairs gentle back fresh cleansing oil (if I have used sunscreen)
- cetaphil gentle cleanser
- 15% Azelaic acid
- cerave peptide cream

A little about me and my skin: I have fair skin that burns easily and and almost is a bit “see through” (I have very visible blood vessels on my entire body). I have some issues with closed comedones (mainly on my chin) and are prone to clogged pores (I have mainly had issues with some sunscreens).

I have keratosis pilaris on my arms and a bit of back acne -but both are improving since I started using a lactic acid body wash.

I am 25 years old. I work in a hospital and can not use anything strongly scented. My makeup routine if concealer on my spots, mascara and sometimes blush and a green eyeliner. I do not usually wear foundation. I often remove my makeup with my usual cleanser (or my oil cleanser of I have more makeup that day)

Fist time woodworking!

I just made my first couple of butter knives! I used a jigsaw and knife to get the approximate shape and then did the rest with a belt sander.
