Doctor told me everything is fine, the weakness is in your mind and I lit a cigarette

So hi , I have subclinical hypothyroidism, its been 1 month since i took the meds , my kidney function, liver function, iron , b12 , vitamin d3 everything is fine , but everyday I feel weak and fatigued and the reason is Psychological, this word said by my doctor, I called my friend went to his home and lit a cigg for the 2 time in my life. Not because I want to be cool but I just wanted to tell myself that the worst can happen and still your body has all the capacity to endure , also because i wanted to cry My friend . I told him every lore and cried my heart out we both only smoked 2 ciggi . And I realised I was in a cage made by my mind or maybe still am . I constantly think about my future even though I am Good at studies I think I will fail I think I don't have any happy future , Therefore I am so depressed, But why am I so pessimistic about the future? or scared "that's the question you have to ask yourself" my friend said

Body pain and fogginess

I only have a TSH of 6 T3 and T2 are normal , yet I'm feeling something i have never felt, I feel like I have a fever , coldness, body aches , fatigue , Is this normal as my thyroid is mild ? Idk my doctor told me it will get better in 3-4 days , i took a leave from work on tues thur friday and today monday , already 4 days of leave and Im on notice period still I don't feel any better, about my job its a full time night shift its not that hectic or easy as well tolerable , but I am afraid taking more leaves will nor be considered as it isn't normal someone takes 10 days leaves just for thyroid doesn't sound fatal, but I really do feel exhausted and I also have to study Im in 3 year of college in all those 4 days I did not have any energy to study . I am scared and stressed as to if I Will evee feel normal ? Because there were days when i only slept for 2 hours and I was functioning but now before sleeping after waking from the sleep I feel extremely exhausted and body aches , also I have same other deficiencies like b12 and vitamin d3 are not severe just moderate but im taking those meds too . Lmk if all of this is normal

Hypothyroidism at 20

Doctor has started my 25mcg dose of thyroxine (levo), its subclinical since t3 and t2 are normal only TSH is at 6. I feel exhausted, fatigued, foggy, not alert, very tired, idk if its normal, my job is chill, my workplace is few kms away from my house, I went to work today but when I was trying to log in, I felt really really tired and foggy and I came home. Shall I take a 1-week leave? Is there any other reason, Am I overthinking too much?

Story Of Privilege

Why do so many privileged people insist they aren't privileged?

This is something I've genuinely never understood.

I often see people who are able to go on solo trips at 18, regularly go café hopping, have their rent, bills, education, clothes, and other expenses covered by their family, yet they still describe themselves as "middle class" or say they "built everything through hard work."

Even people like Elon Musk have described themselves as having a middle-class upbringing, despite having opportunities and resources that most people simply don't have.

What confuses me is that acknowledging privilege doesn't erase hard work. You can work incredibly hard and still have advantages that other people don't.

To me, if your basic living expenses are taken care of, if you have financial security, if you can travel, eat out frequently, or pursue hobbies without constantly worrying about money, those are privileges. They may not make someone "rich," but they do provide opportunities that many others don't have.

So why is it so difficult for people to acknowledge that? Why do so many people seem uncomfortable admitting they had advantages?

I'm genuinely curious to hear different perspectives. Is it because "privilege" has become associated with guilt? Do people have a different definition of privilege? Or is there something I'm missing?
