Pretty self-explanatory. Despite what Vamola and we the readers may think, there’s a good chance that Vamola has bonded with her Kaiju suit at a higher level.

Like the Transformation Cogs from Transformers, the golden karma ball that powers Vamola’s suit might not just be technology, but biology, as it comes from the life force of the sacrificed Sumerian people. Momo theorized that it has as will of its own, and it’s glowing was way for good people to find Vamola. I can only assume that Mr. Peeny used nanoskin to repair the Kaiju suit, and that it’s conflicting with the suit’s programming. And that it just made Vamola grow giant, as that what she was imagining most of all. It’s quite possible she’ll subconsciously form claws and other Kaiju features as the fight goes on.

Others such as myself have been wondering if Vamola was going to receive an upgrade with this fight like Kinta fusing his nanoskin with her suit or Vamola activating the suit’s ‘Slaughter Mode,’ but achieving a certain oneness with her suit could open more possibilities.

Just out of curiosity, what would some of you consider to be the episodes with the meanest humour? I’m only on Season 5 right now, but it seems to me that seasons 1-3 had a lot more episodes with the characters acting like mean jerks towards each other.

Hi again. I’m wondering if Okarun and maybe Momo will play a role in Willie-zilla defeat with the use of the Ogre Club.

I recall someone speculating how the ogre club in its smaller, stick form resembles a needle. And that Issun-bōshi used a needle-like sword to defeat an oni. While that could apply to Vlad as well, right now, Okarun and Momo are effectively like mice or insects to the giant kaiju. I think Willie-zilla’s defeat will be a group effort, as all EE and Acro Aira can hope to do is to distract it and let Vamola in her Kaiju suit get a few hits in. However, that might not be enough given that William Marshal was a highly skilled fighter. So Okarun and maybe Momo might end up inside the Kaiju and go to town slashing away its insides, thereby allowing the others to finish it off.

What are your thoughts?

Hello all. Something I’ve been speculating on for a while is whether Vlad, in his oni form, is effectively a stand-in for the mythical oni Shuten-Doji? I only recall basic details about the mythical character, but I do know that Shuten-Doji was one of the most powerful and infamous oni in Japanese mythology. And the manner in which he was defeated involved warriors disguised as priests offering him especially potent sake before a fight broke out between them, Shuten-Doji’s forces and himself.

Like Shuten-Doji, Vlad is the head of a notorious group of rogues. And after he is infused with more yokai spirits, he greatly resembles a traditional oni. Moreover, his appearance and personality are like that of a fat, jovial and vicious drunkard. CSG has been offering Vlad Yokai ‘spirits’ which has resulted in Vlad being ‘drunk on power’ and feeds his ego by offering him praise. This signifies that CSG is going to betray Vlad at some point.

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

Edit: They’ll supposedly be released on Nov 12. I guess that means the Ocarina of Time Remake will be released then as well.

And just maybe, it will be automatically downloaded on the console or something. That’s just my guess though.

With the confirmation that Manjiro was captured and contained at the airport, it’s almost guaranteed that Basho has been masquerading as ‘Manjiro’ in order to give Okarun the Ogre Club and monitor his progress with it. CSG mentioned ‘befriending’ Takakura and the others, and the easiest way to do that is to have someone take on the form of a trusted ally of the Ayase Family.

Some of you have mentioned that Manjiro has been alternating between calling Ken by his nickname ‘Okarun’ and Takakura, which is unusual. Moreover, Manjiro didn’t really train Okarun and only gave him basic instructions on how to use his spiritual abilities. This indicates that Manjiro is only interested in Okarun unlocking powers, but otherwise being untrained and vulnerable.

Basho is already a ‘sly fox’ in way due to her transformation magic, lying capabilities and being an attractive female. I can see Okarun awakening his full powers at the amusement park battles and surviving. Only for ‘Manjiro’ to appear and escort the others home, take Momo hostage and force Okarun to yield his powers. What are your thoughts?

For those of you who have gotten after Tatsu for using an outdated Spinosaurus design, there’s more than one reason for that. The old design is ingrained into popular culture thanks Jurassic Park 3. While the Spinosaurus’ design has been changing repeatedly the past couple of years. The JP3 Spinosaurus looks firm and powerful. While newer ones, or at least this image looks ‘flaccid’, lethargic and not up to great chase on land.

Apart from the possibility of Turbo Ken or new yokai form emerging, I think Okarun could pretend to yield and unleash his the ogre club or his own spiritual power to stab whomever comes over like Dragon Knight Captain or the Sea Lion Man. This moment from a Simpsons episode got me thinking about that.
