HC Moore has a dream and vision for the future of this team. We are going through a metamorphosis and that comes with growing pains. We need to continue to get younger and cheaper. If they come back on team friendly deals, then I'm all for it but if not, let's not use nostalgia to sign stupid, overpriced deals. I'm putting my trust in Kellen for whatever happens next.
Hey everyone, I’m moving to Tallahassee soon for a new job and wanted to ask for advice on the best way to find rentals from private landlords instead of large apartment complexes.
So far I’ve looked on Zillow, Facebook Marketplace, Apartments.com, and Craigslist, but I’m not sure what people in Tallahassee actually use the most for finding good places. I’m mainly looking for a house or townhome in a safe area that is a little quieter and not completely centered around student life.
I’d appreciate any tips on:
• Best places to search for rentals from private owners
• Neighborhoods that are good for young professionals
• Areas I should avoid
• Good local property management companies if private rentals are hard to find
Would really appreciate any advice from people who live there or have gone through the rental search recently. Thanks!

Long story short, I interviewed for a TT assistant professor position in CE/ECE and received an ideal offer. I'm considering leaving industry to accept it, but I was wondering if things don't work out and I don't receive tenure, how difficult it would be to return to industry research later? If I came back would it look down upon in industry? Will I be forced to hunt for other academic positions if this doesn't work out?
