Asked my psychiatrist about cannabis use on 50 MG, she said not to worry at all about serotonin syndrome. But Google says its so dangerous?

Do any of you have any experience? I don't engage often, once or twice a week at night and I only ever take my meds in the morning. I know I should probably listen to the doctor over google and I would really love to not have to stop (really helps with sleep and relaxing) but the idea of serotonin syndrome terrifies me. If I still can, any recommendations on levels of CBD/THC to reduce risk?

Please tell me the dreams stop

They are so vivid, so real, and so LONG. They are nonsensical usually, yes, but even neutral dreams always turn bad for me and I couldn't tell you the last time I had a good dream. Ever since I've been on zoloft, it is every night, all night long. I am exhausted. Please tell me this stops 😭

If I had Wednesday's off, I feel like I could actually do life

It is incredible just how much of a difference just one day a week can make, but its true. It makes the start of the week less daunting (the worst for my anxiety) and the end of the week far more doable. I feel prepared, optimistic (which is insane for me) and at the ready.

If I could afford to live this way, it could change my entire way of being. Alas, it is incredible just how much of a difference just one day can make.

Debris of..dirt found in bed??

Found 1 adult and 1 larvae (on mattress) a month or two ago. Immediately did everything, washed bedding in high heat, Steam cleaned mattress and floors, vacuumed absolutely everywhere and have been vacuuming every second day since then. Bought mattress encasements for mattress and box spring. So far no other problems. I go to go to bed last night and in between the sheet and the top sheet with the comforter on top is this..pile of dark colored specks in one spot where I sleep. Was not there the night before. Easy to swipe away, no stains, felt like dirt and crumbly. I looked it up and google mentioned carpet beetles can cause debris? What are the chances I'm dealing with this again? Does anyone have any idea what happened? Sorry no pictures I freaked out and threw them away before thinking.

New to anger

I grew up and still deal with a very severe anxiety disorder. Thus, I learned how to fawn, people please, and manage mostly fear and anxiety. I got good at that.

Now, as I grow older, I've learned I have absolutely no idea what to do with anger. I never really felt it in my early life, it just wasn't a feeling I encountered often.

I encounter it VERY often now as I have healed more. I am angry, what feels like all of the time and I genuinely have no idea what to do with it let alone how to manage it. It might sound stupid but I genuinely don't know any tips or coping skills.

What are some ways to handle this? Sometimes the anger is about something specific but sometimes its just about everything or nothing all at once.

I remember as a kid, contemplating ending things.

I decided not to because everyone always said how much things get better and how worth it life is to fight for.

If I had known then what I know life to be now: work most of your life away, corruption in governments, people and who they have become, I hope I would have had the courage to go through with it.

I constantly am afraid someone is mad at me

Like. Constantly. It has become one of the biggest issues of my entire life, it overtakes everything. My entire life, someone being mad at me has meant something being taken away: safety, love, comfort. As I grow older, I only see this more rather than less. Your boss is mad? Guess what, they have the power and legal right to fire you and you could end up homeless. Your parents/SO is mad? They can leave you, kick you out. I don't know how to explain it, it feels as dangerous as being evicted does. And no one else seems to care. How the fuck do you even get to that point?!

I hate living because everything is about fear

I mean it. My body has been tight and in pain since I was 12. Everything, even the good things in life, come tainted with fear and stress. I haven't fully relaxed in years. I don't know how to keep dealing with not just the physical ailments this comes with but the idea that I have to move through every day terrified in a system that is designed to keep it that way for the rest of my life. I cannot keep doing this, you guys. I don't know how much sanity I have left. It hurts. It all hurts. I am in so much pain.

Mattress encasements?

I don't have bed bugs but am terrified of them. I recently purchased two of the utopia mattress encasements off Amazon for my box spring and mattress for peace of mind. However, I may have jumped the gun too quickly as I am now wondering whether they are actually any good. How do you know it is actually bed bug proof? I've heard the Protect A Bed is excellent but its so pricy. Also, if you do purchase for peace of mind, how often should you wash them? Do you put your 3 sided mattress protector on top or underneath? Apologizes for all the questions. Thank you for any advice!

Does everybody really hate McDonald's poutine?

I don't know how everyone hates it so much. Its one of my favorites. Does anyone else out there like it?

Is there a part of your body it hits most/worse when it gets bad? For me, its in my gut. It feels like twisting and knots and wrenching. And then the symptoms from that cause muscle tension, headaches, etc. But I feel like it lives and originates in my stomach.

Does anyone else feel anxiety is more than just "uncomfortable"?

Everyone always says, "you'll be okay, it is just an uncomfortable feeling that will pass" and I can just never get on board with that.

It is among one of the worst feelings I have ever experienced. I would say worse than depression, for me at least. On par with grief. It is truly, truly, beyond awful. I guess maybe there's no more apt way of putting it? But uncomfortable just feels so downplaying..maybe that's just me?
