I bought a Feathersnap camera a few weeks ago and am trying to set it up. I have successfully paired the camera to my wifi, but when I try to load the live feed it hangs for a few minutes and then reports that it is unsuccessful ("unable to load live feed").

When I first connected the camera to the network it prompted me to do a firmware update, which I did. This then happened again- I accepted both invitations to perform the firmware update, and allowed it to complete both times.
I have tried power cycling the camera a number of times, but it has not helped.

I have also tried changing the wifi connection to use the guest connection, that that hasn't helped either.

My phone is a Pixel 8.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I've been exploring predbat prior to my upcoming solar installation. I have it configured with the Octopus HA integration (I am on the Agile tariff). While the data for import rates is broadly in line with the rates in the Octopus Android app (although usually a few pennies out), the text summary of the plan on the Dash page seems be out of sync by about half an hour .

So for example at 16:25 it was telling me "Import rates are cheap (17.3p) for the next 10 minutes and then very expensive (29.9p - 36.1p) for the next 3 hours". The actual rates jumped from 17.28p to 29.88p at 16:00 according to both the Octopus Android app and the Predbat plan page. The predbat data was updated at 16;21.

So while the plan seemed to be correct, the text summary of it on the Dash was misleading - indicating that there was cheap electricity for the next 10 mins when actually it was more expensive.

Any idea why this anomaly might have arisen?

I have just set up an FP300 in my hallway. I want to use it to enable automated lighting when the light levels get very low (even if not in total darkness). The illuminance sensor shows a reading of 1 even in the daytime when the light is not particularly low, By comparison, a Hue PIR sensor in the same location shows an illuminance value of 4.
I have the Light reporting threshold set to 5% in Z2MQTT, and Illuminance calibration set to 5. I also have Illuminance raw set to True - the illuminance_raw sensor shows a value of 0.

Is there any way that I can make the FP300 more sensitive to small changes in light levels when the room is not brightly lit?

The left earbud of my technics az80 has stopped working (sorry the post header says AZ100 and I can't work out how to edit it). I do not hear a tone or message when I put it in my ear after charging, and there is no audio playback from it. It seems to respond to touches. For example if I press and hold it I get a message on my phone asking me what app I want to use to complete the action. A single tap does nothing. Double-tapping reduces the playback volume in the right earbud. The Technics app shows the earbud has 100% charge. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra,

I've tried unpairing the earbuds from the phone and re-pairing, but I only get audio from the right earbud during the unpairing/pairing process, and the left earbud remains dead (apart from touch responses) after re-pairing.

Any ideas?

I have my AV receiver connected to the PC via HDMI (Sony STR-DN1030 / Asus NUC Pro 15+). I have a number of FLAC files which are encoded for 5.1 audio, but I do not get any audio from the rear channels when I play them in VLC. The rear channels on the receiver are working fine - for example I can get output from them when I select the "Multi Stereo" option on the receiver.

The codec info shows:
- Channels: 3F2R/LFE.

In VLC (v3.0.20) I have set:
- Output module: Windows Multimedia Device output
- HDMI/SPDIF audio passthrough: Enabled
- Device: Sony AVAMP (HD Audio Driver for Display Audio)
In Output Modules I have set:
- MMDevice
- Output back-end: Automatic
- HDMI/SPDIF audio passthrough: Enabled
- Output Device: Sony AVAMP (HD Audio Driver for Display Audio)

Any idea how I can get the rear audio channels to play back?

I've just installed predbat on HA 2026.5, but can't find the apps.yaml file to configure it. I don't have an /addon_configs or /config/appdaemon/ folder.

Any idea where it might be located?

I am trying to add a trigger to an existing Profile, but can't work out how to do it. If I long press any of the existing trigger texts, or icons, I only get Clone/Delete/Name as options.
How can I edit the triggers?

I am running v6.6.20 on a Galaxy S24 Ultra.

I am having a KH7 installed in the next few weeks. As well as using the Fox app to monitor it, I am also planning to monitor and control it from Home Assistant using a Waveshare RS485 device.

My question is: what are my options for connecting the inverter to the internet? For example, if I have a powerline ethernet adapter nearby can I connect the inverter directly to it using the LAN port on the inverter? Will this provide all of the connectivity that it needs, without having to rely on the (sometimes flaky) wifi?
