In Search Of: Lefty 1.0 1.56” Steerer for 134mm Head Tube

Shot in the dark here but I’m chasing the mythical 1.56” diameter steerer tube for a rebuild of a 2008 Cannondale Taurine SL with a 134mm headtube.

If anyone knows of one available please PM me!

Is Browsing Car Dealer Lots on a Sunday Still Generally Allowed in Houston?

For years it’s been something people do to avoid sales guys and to ‘window shop’ at their own pace before they are ready to actually initiate a buying process.

But at the same time dealers in Houston are victims of targeted theft pretty regularly so I could see them all having pretty serious security and trespassing policies.

Is it something typically permitted around here or not anymore? Just curious.

Update Post Re: Rx Concentration Change and Noom from Friday

Posted a question here on Friday re: what looked to me like a material change in the strength of my Semaglutide rx that I receive through Noom. Heard from the prescribing doctor over the weekend and think it raises more questions for me that may mean I have an issue with Noom (?) and am keen to get input from those of you here that may have had a similar circumstance or be familiar with this scenario:

Cliffs Notes: Rx changed from 2.5/7.5mg/ml to 2.5/5.0mg/ml but the volume/how many units to take did not change to reflect the change in concentration.

I messaged the doctor and he replied confirming that the volume/how many units should stay the same but also included this statement:

'This is the new dosing concentration. Unfortunately the doctors don't have control over if the concentration changes, etc.'

I interpret this to mean that Noom is reducing the potency/performance of the concentration of their Semaglutide and that the Noom doctor has no say in my dosing - and further that I'm basically going to be getting less medicine (likely reduced effectiveness) for the same $?

I find that sort of hard to believe but at the same time that seems to be what the doctor is saying?

Really appreciate any clarification or experience others here may have with a scenario like this.

Thanks very much.

Clarification Question re: Dosing Instructions When Rx Concentration(?) Changes?

Apologies for my ignorance on this in advance but sorta confused and looking to get some clarification aside from my doctor (whom I've already messaged and waiting to hear back).

For the past year through Noom I've been on a 2.5mg/7.5mg/ml concentration(?) of Semaglutide + Glycine. I received a refill last week and the new bottle says 2.5mg/5.0mg/ml. Despite that change, the dosing instructions as far as volume/units to take stayed the same.

I'm obviously not an expert but it seems like the # of units I'm injecting would have to change (up or down I'm not sure) if the concentration of the medication changes?

Am I misunderstanding or ?

Again thanks in advance for clarification. I won't be using it either way until I hear back from my doctor.

Deviated Septum - Anyone Here Have It Repaired and How Did It Impact Your Anxiety?

Was having some imaging done last week for something and the radiologist notes referenced a substantial deviated septum. Spoke with an ENT about it and he said mine was an 8.5 or 9 of 10 and probably a good candidate to have it repaired.

I've struggle with GAD for most of my adult life and my fight or flight physiological response is triggered pretty easily in panic situations. My nose more or less stays clogged and I use nasal spray almost daily. I suspect that improving airflow could really help calm my autonomic system/reduce the stress my system is apparently going through just to breath and that that could pay some real dividends in terms of reducing anxiety and making me less susceptible to panic attacks.

I'm curious if anyone here has been down that path and whether they found this to be the case?

Def something I plan to discuss more thoroughly with my doctor but this sub seems like a somewhat ideal place to ask as well. Appreciate any insight.
