John Goodman’s (Dan Conner) older expansion band watch in the original Roseanne

I know he worn a Timex Easy Reader T20461/T2N091 in the 2018 revival and the subsequent spinoff The Conners (2018-2025). But in the original Roseanne, he sported an entirely different watch (note the expansion band! Looks like in the show, Dan always has an affinity for expansion bands) for the entire show’s run.

Any idea what watch is this? I always thought it’s a Sharp but wondered if it could be something else too. What do I know for sure is it’s clearly not a Timex because there is not a single Timex model with that exact case shape, and that watch isn’t really John Goodman’s personal watch.

Dumb question, but does Timex Electric watches require oil to be able to run?

I know they use a coin battery cell but since they still have a balancing staff and is electro-mechanical, I do wonder if they still require oil or any kind of lubricant to function or not.

Help identify Herb Alpert’s quartz dive watch

So I came across this reel of Herb Alpert on Instagram and I noticed he has this quartz dive watch. Any idea what exactly it is?

I can confidently rule out Casio Duro, because of different case and the different hands.
