Emergency charger and her rubber glove: Take Charge of My Heart

Emergency charger and her rubber glove: Take Charge of My Heart

As I was reeling from the void left by the stupendous Four Hands Two Sonatas, I finally found my rebound show. Take Charge of My Heart is just how it looks like... cheesy, fluffy like a candyfloss, a little predictable and cringe at times but a whole lotta cute and fun. I'm on Episode 3 and so far I'm loving it. You can tell that Kim Young Kwang is out of his comfort zone here but he still comes across as charming and charismatic enough to ace it. The female lead is super cute. This is my fourth kdrama so I haven't watched Chae Soobin's previous works, but she's just a doll! The second ml (Cha Woo Min) was in Weak Hero playing an antagonist, but here he's winning heart with his innocent smile. Honestly, I feel a little sad knowing that he's probably not getting the girl in the end, but at least KYK is also not meeting a sad, fateful ending in this one. His chemistry with Soobin doesn't look out of place, despite the age gap, they look really good together. All in all, this one is perfect for a binge watch. It may not be the critic's choice but definitely will be the people's darling πŸ’•πŸ’–

My favorite love story of the year: Four Hands Two Sonatas (12 Episodes, completed)

Nine years of separation, yearning, revenge, jealousy, tears, and bleeding love culminating into a moment so tender you'll tremble under its weight...

Also, I want to thank Song Kang and Lee Jun Young for being unafraid to experiment with their respective roles.

(Four) hands down, this one's the kdrama of the year for me.

My thoughts after Episode 4 of Four Hands Two Sonatas

So I watched Episode 4 and decided on this...

I'm going to stick around for Pio and JY.

I don't care if they're blood-related. If by some lazy or crazy plot twist they end up being uncle-nephew or cousins or whatever...

I choose to treat them as two individuals who could hear the music hidden in the other's soul and loved and cared deeply about each other even at their worst.

The way they protect each other, and have eyes for each other only speaks volumes. And I feel the girl's presence is not creating a rift between the two, at least till now. Pio isn't jealous that SHE is liking JY's music. Her reaction merely confirms his belief that JY has a certain kind of magic that can't be acquired, and that fear is driving him insecure.

Also, look at the different ways Jae In and JY praise Pio. Her words are sweet, but somehow ring hollow, because she's not fully convinced of them herself. On the other hand, JY calls Pio a "generational talent," spoken straight from the heart because his righteous anger was impossible to fake. Nobody believes in Pio more than JY, not even the mother who's the only parent he has ever known.

In fact, every adult around them has been rotten and shady so far.

I don't think the complicated history of the adults should come between them.

Pio and JY started relying and leaning onto each other without knowing anything about it, and their feelings should matter more than the past that can neither be corrected nor relived.

These two have experienced too much cruelty and trauma, and undeservingly so.

I hope they find solace and happiness in each other's presence when the season ends.

Anyone else feel the same?

Won't ever be another like you...

He's kept every promise he made to the fans, and he has completed football. There were hints after the WC final that the retirement might be imminent, still none of us were prepared for it. We can deal with it the way he has taught us. With our heads held high, and a heart full of love and gratitude πŸ™ Gracias, Leo.

His beauty lies in his simplicity

The most beautiful thing about Leo Messi is his kind heart. Sharing some of my favorite pics from my gallery in case you want a wallpaper.

Glad to see him smiling again

Thank you DePaul for making our 🐐 smile again. Leo's happiness is on the field, not away from it. His mother told him to get back to playing πŸ™ Seeing him smile felt so great πŸ’–πŸ’– Love you, Leo.

Leo's good looks is lowkey underrated...

Just goat vibes from Inter Miami's post today 😎😎 Leo has always served looks, especially with the right hairstyles, but he's too humble to flaunt it. Bro is only programmed for football, as everyone says πŸ˜‡ Maybe Miami will finally unlock his stylish side.

Greatness beyond boundaries

He's loved and respected everywhere. If only certain fanbases had the maturity to understand and appreciate it...
