Yo, the strawhats are not ready if Luffy decided to fully express all the shit he's been through
I'm not trying to misinterpret what Luffys character is but it's just a what if. Yes, he tends to move forward, relies on distraction and redirection. We have seen Luffy express some of his shit to Jimbei but he wasn't the; Strawhat close. Cause I mean, the only thing Jimbei has seen of Luffy being in his lowest was at a war and losing his brother and his crew at the same time. I know, his crew are absolutely valuable and said enough to be considered to be a traumatic experience if he ever lost them. But has Luffy fully expressed how he felt to the crew? Has he grieved right Infront of them with all how he's felt? I know Luffy doesn't do that, but what if? What if there was a possibility.
Can we talk about this part? Like 2 years is crazy dedication.
If we ignore the narratives for a sec and apply these 2 years to our time and did the same thing with our own friends, I don't think it'd be possible for the friendship to not fall apart. I know, it's fiction, but deep analysis here. The strawhats didn't even get to communicate with each other for 2 years, even a month of no talking to one of your friends would make things awkward or that's just a me problem, idk if that also happens to some people. It's like, I feel like there's an alternate route out there out there that one of the members slowly distanced themselves, cause again, if we're being real here, even if it's someone that practically changed your life but with no communication for 2 years, that's practically not even knowing if you're still in each other's mind.
Again, this is just my own headcanon. Cause like, what if one member went rogue cause they had moved on, thinking that the person they were saved by was no longer in their mind. Or that's just weakness if you're able to to move on that fast? Can someone tell me cause I think 2 years is a long time.
Guys guys, I know that they were saved by Luffy and those traumatic bond was changed to loyalty but I just wanna ask what's your thoughts on it
